About this collection

In these sessions, we don't just hold poses; we use props like bolsters, cork blocks, and our studio's specialized rope wall to fully support your body, allowing gravity to do the work. Whether you are coming in to manage stress or simply need a physical reset, the focus here is strictly on sukham, or ease. Please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in, as we close the studio doors once the session begins to protect the quiet space we build together.

Why Restorative Yoga at Tangerine Arts Studio

Yoga is often associated with movement and strength, but we believe that knowing how to rest is just as important. Our Restorative and Yin classes are designed as a spa for your nervous system. By holding gentle poses for longer periods with the support of props, we help your body release deep-seated tension that everyday life in Mumbai tends to store.

What to Expect

Our studio in Bandra West is a calm, air-conditioned villa space that we transform into a sanctuary. When you walk in, you will find high-density Manduka mats, bolsters, and belts ready for you.

  • Supported Postures: We use blocks and bolsters to take the effort out of stretching, allowing your muscles to soften rather than engage.
  • Breath and Stillness: Every class includes guided breathing techniques to help you drop into a state of deep rest.
  • Intimate Groups: We limit our sessions to 10 to 15 students, ensuring you get the space and attention you need to truly unwind.

Our Philosophy

This is not about perfecting a pose. It is about sthira (stability) and sukham (ease). We focus on the yin energy—the quiet, receptive side of your practice. It is perfect if you are feeling burnt out, recovering from a busy week, or simply need to reconnect with yourself. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned practitioner, this space is yours to explore at your own pace. Come as you are, and leave feeling a little lighter. ✨

I'm Tanvi. At Tangerine Arts Studio, we treat the mat as a sanctuary. For me, restorative yoga is about finding that necessary quiet in a loud city. I invite you to step in, leave the hustle at the door, and just breathe with us.
