Traditional Hatha Yoga Classes
Find stability (sthira) and ease (sukham) in every pose. At Tangerine Arts Studio, our Hatha practice helps you build strength, calm your mind, and connect with your own rhythm, right here in Bandra or online.
Finding the balance between effort and ease in Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana (Revolved Head-to-Knee Pose). This pose stretches the side body, hamstrings, and spine.

A smile in Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (One-Legged King Pigeon Pose). This pose is a deep hip and quad stretch that also opens the heart.
About this collection
We do not just focus on the shapes; we use props like cork blocks, bolsters, and wall ropes to ensure your body finds its own unique alignment. Whether you are a total beginner or have been practicing for years, these tools help you settle into the pose safely so you can focus on your breath rather than struggling to reach your toes.
Your Practice, Your Pace
Yoga at Tangerine is about what happens inside, not just the picture-perfect pose. My Hatha classes are designed to build sthira (stability) and sukham (ease). This means we work on holding asanas to build physical stamina, but we always balance that effort with pranayama and meditation to calm the nervous system.
What We Actually Do
Every session is structured to meet you where you are today. We cycle through static and dynamic holds, integrating mudras and bandhas to deepen the experience. It is not about how flexible you are when you walk in; it is about how much clearer you feel when you walk out.
Why Our Studio Setup Matters
You will find our Bandra studio is fully equipped with high-density Manduka mats, cork blocks, and wall ropes for Iyengar-style deep stretching. If you are joining us online, the guidance remains just as precise, with verbal cues that help you adjust your posture in real-time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be flexible to start? Not at all. Flexibility is a result of practice, not a requirement. We use props to ensure everyone, regardless of current ability, can perform poses safely.
Is this just for physical fitness? Physical fitness is a byproduct. Our core aim is to clear the mind and regulate the breath. If you are looking to manage stress, improve your posture, or simply find a quiet hour in a busy Mumbai schedule, this is for you.
How do I join? We offer single class drop-ins or monthly packs if you want to build a consistent routine. Check our current schedule for our morning and evening batches—all available in-studio and online. 🍊
