About Group Yoga Classes
What I Offer
Yoga, for me, is way more than just stretches on a mat. I blend traditional asanas and old-school yogic techniques with a chill, community vibe. My studio in Kaggadasapura is simple, clean, and feels pretty homely - wooden floors, big mirrors, and all the props you’ll ever need.
Group Classes, Real People
- Most of us aren't super bendy Insta yogis, so I keep each batch small-ish. That means you actually get help with your alignment or if you’re stuck in a pose.
- All props like blocks and straps are ready to use for Restorative yoga sessions or when you just want to take it slow.
- No one’s judging if you can’t touch your toes - it’s really yoga for all bodies and all ages.
What We Actually Do
- Mix of beginner-friendly group yoga and some advanced poses (like Chakrasana or Halasana), but there’s always an option to skip or modify.
- I include things like Jyoti Trataka (candle gazing) if you want to try old-school meditation for sleep or focus.
- We do core strength yoga classes, sometimes with partners, which is honestly more fun than it sounds!
- Teach simple kriyas like Jala Neti for those dealing with sinus or allergies.
Why People Keep Coming
- Most folks come for the community yoga experience, but stick around because they sleep better, feel lighter, and their back pain is less of a headache.
- It helps with stress, BP, diabetes, and even those annoying headaches.
I won’t claim yoga is magic, but it’s made a difference for me and the gang here.

Swasthya Yoga
My Story
Namaskara, we’re Swasthya Yoga Academy. Seven years back, just a small idea, now a buzzing studio in Kaggadasapura. Our space is not fancy, but full of heart. Kids giggling in the evening, seniors stretching in the morning, sometimes partner yoga, sometimes just sitting together. We keep it real - yoga is more than bending, it’s about being mindful. We love connecting at Mysuru Yoga Utsava, always learning from S-VYASA. It’s a lifestyle, not just a class.
