Traditional Yoga Classes and Community Life
A look at our Kaggadasapura studio, where we focus on practical, therapeutic yoga designed to fit into your modern daily routine.
A glimpse into one of our group yoga sessions. I guide the class through a sequence of asanas designed to build strength and improve flexibility, ensuring a supportive environment for all skill levels.
Here is a partner yoga session focused on core strengthening. These exercises are not only effective for building abdominal strength but also foster a sense of connection and fun within the class.
We practice Jyoti Trataka, or candle gazing, a traditional meditation technique. This practice is excellent for improving concentration, calming the mind, and promoting better sleep.
Practitioners here are working on Chakrasana, or Wheel Pose. I provide guidance for advanced postures like this to help students safely deepen their practice and enhance spinal flexibility.
This is a restorative yoga session where we use props like straps and blocks. This approach allows the body to relax completely into a pose, helping to release tension and soothe the nervous system.
A happy moment with my students after a rewarding class. The community we build is just as important as the yoga we practice, creating a welcoming space for everyone.
About Featured
You will notice our studio isn’t just about performing perfect poses for a camera. We use props like straps and blocks in every session to ensure that poses are safe and accessible, whether you are a complete beginner or dealing with chronic back pain. The photos here show exactly what happens in our batches: a focus on proper alignment, shared practice, and the community connection that keeps our members coming back.
A Different Approach to Yoga
At Swasthya Yoga Academy, we believe yoga is a lifestyle, not just a workout. Our studio in Kaggadasapura is built on the idea that traditional practices should serve the modern individual. Whether you are dealing with desk-related back pain, high stress, or looking for ways to manage lifestyle conditions like BP and diabetes, our sessions are structured to provide tangible relief.
What Happens in Our Sessions
We keep our batches small to ensure that you get real attention. You won't find a room full of people copying a video; you will find a teacher correcting your posture and offering modifications based on your physical needs.
- Restorative & Therapeutic: We use bolsters and blocks to help you hold poses longer, allowing your nervous system to reset.
- Traditional Techniques: We incorporate Jyoti Trataka (candle gazing) for focus and Jala Neti for sinus relief—methods that go beyond basic stretching.
- Core & Partner Work: We introduce elements like partner yoga to make core strengthening effective and engaging.
Our environment is simple because we believe the focus should be on the practice itself. We have wooden floors, mirrors for self-correction, and a space where kids, seniors, and working professionals all find their rhythm. If you are tired of generic fitness classes and want a practice that actually understands your body, come by for a trial.
