Yoga isn't about perfectly replicating a shape you see online. Whether you are starting from scratch or looking to deepen your practice, my courses are designed to help you build a sustainable routine that actually fits your life.

A seated pose from the beginning of the practice. This image was for a course for absolute beginners, showing that yoga is accessible to everyone. The most important thing is simply to practice.

To see results, you need to practice with attention and regularity. Mechanical repetition brings nothing. This deep forward bend with a bind, a variation of Padangusthasana, requires focus to turn your attention inward.

A simple standing forward fold, or Uttanasana. To practice correctly and for the long term, you need a teacher who has already walked the path and can guide you so you do not get lost along the way.

Sometimes you don't have the energy to practice "perfectly" or "correctly". That is okay. The most important step is just to begin as you are. As a teacher, I am here to help you find your own pace and guide you back to your practice, no matter where you are starting from.

This is Eka Pada Sirsasana, a challenging pose that requires deep hip rotation and flexibility. Working with a teacher gives you the support and synergy needed to make a quantum leap in your practice.

A demonstration of Hanumanasana, the full splits. Ashtanga yoga is a balanced system that builds both strength and flexibility, helping me feel more energetic at 35 than I did at 25.

An announcement for my online Ashtanga yoga offerings. I run an online Mysore program, offer individual two-hour intensives, and have a recorded course for beginners, "Ashtanga from Scratch".

Announcing my month-long Mysore program in Delhi. This video shows the energy of a live class, from my own practice to assisting students. I welcome both complete beginners and advanced practitioners.

About Courses & Announcements

Most yoga programs leave you wondering if your alignment is safe or if you are just imitating the teacher. In my Ashtanga courses and workshops, I focus on the 'why' behind every movement. Whether you join an online intensive or a live class in Delhi, you get feedback on your breath, drishti (gaze), and structural alignment. We modify postures to work with your body's current reality, not against it, which is essential if you are recovering from injury or simply building a practice after a long break.

My teaching approach is rooted in the Mysore-style tradition, meaning the practice is individualized even in group settings. When I announce a new course or workshop, the goal is always the same: to give you the tools to practice safely on your own.

Ashtanga from Scratch

This is my flagship offering for absolute beginners. We spend weeks breaking down the foundational movements of the Primary Series. You learn the breathing technique (ujjayi), the bandhas (energy locks), and the basic sequence. This isn't a passive video library; it is a structured program designed to help you establish a habit you can maintain long after the course ends.

Intermediate Intensives & Check-ups

For those who already have a regular practice but feel stuck, I host regular 'Check-up' workshops. These are technical deep dives. We dissect specific challenges, like transitioning through advanced arm balances, improving backbends, or mastering leg-behind-head postures. These sessions include biomechanical explanations and specific drills to help you move past plateaus without forcing your joints into positions they aren't ready for.

Why My Courses Are Different

I don't believe in the 'guru' dynamic. I am a guide who has walked this path, including the messy parts of being a mother and juggling life in two cultures. My workshops are spaces where it is okay to show up tired, unpolished, or frustrated. Whether you join me in Delhi for in-person adjustments or via Zoom from halfway across the world, you get honest, direct guidance. We focus on progress, not perfection. If you are looking to understand your body better and develop a practice that evolves with you, you are in the right place.

I used to think yoga was about perfect poses, but motherhood taught me that the real practice is just showing up, even on the messy days. Now, I guide others in Delhi and online to build a sustainable practice that respects your body and your schedule.
