Advanced Inversions & Arm Balance Yoga in Paschim Vihar
Building the strength to go upside down starts here. At our Sunder Vihar studio, we break down complex inversions like handstands and headstands, focusing on safety, alignment, and calm control.

About Advanced Asanas: Inversions & Arm Balances
We don't just jump into handstands; we build from the ground up. In these workshops, I personally handle the spotting and alignment corrections for each student, ensuring that even if you have never balanced on your hands before, you feel secure. We focus on the anatomy of the shoulder and proper core engagement, so you can progress safely without the risk of injury.
Mastering Inversions Safely
Inversions like Sirsasana (headstand) or Pincha Mayurasana (forearm stand) are often seen as the peak of a yoga practice, but they are just tools for understanding your body. My workshops focus on the 'why' and 'how' of each movement. We look at wrist preparation, shoulder stability, and the engagement of the bandhas (energy locks) to ensure you are balanced by strength, not momentum.
Why Small Batches Matter
Advanced asana work requires focus. This is why I cap my intensive sessions at 12 participants. In a crowded room, minor alignment issues often get missed, leading to unnecessary strain. Here, you get active physical spotting and manual adjustments. If you wobble or fall, I am there to guide your descent. This creates the trust needed to try poses you might otherwise find intimidating.
The Mind-Body Connection
It is easy to get caught up in the 'cool' factor of a handstand. However, the real work is internal. We approach every posture with a focus on breath control. When your mind is noisy, your balance is shaky. We use these poses as a samadhaan for the scattered mind, helping you find a point of stillness even when your feet are off the ground.
Chhoti-si aadat, lekin badi sehat ki shuruat. Join us in Paschim Vihar to stop guessing and start building a stable, long-term inversion practice.
Lakshay Power Yoga
I am Lakshay, and my approach is simple: yoga is a journey, not a race to the perfect pose. I create a space where you can wobble, laugh, and eventually find the strength to hold your own weight, guiding you every step of the way.
