We do not teach for Instagram likes. These sessions focus on the mechanics of arm balances, deep backbends, and inversions for those ready to commit to the real work.

This is Purna Ardha Matsyendrasana, an advanced twisting and arm-balancing pose that demands significant flexibility and strength. My practice is a testament to the dedication I bring to teaching these complex asanas.

In our arm balance workshops, we focus on building foundational strength and proper technique. Here, a student practices the entry into Adho Mukha Vrksasana, or handstand, with instructor support and wall assistance to ensure safety.

This video demonstrates the dynamic transition from a tripod headstand into Eka Pada Bakasana, or one-legged crane pose. This sequence builds immense core and shoulder stability, a key focus in our arm balance series.

This hip-opening posture, a variation of Parsva Bhuja Dandasana, targets deep external rotation of the hip. In my workshops, I guide students on how to safely enter such poses to increase mobility and release tension.

Here is a preparatory pose for Eka Pada Koundinyasana, an arm balance that combines a twist with a leg extension. This posture builds the necessary upper body strength and hip flexibility required for the full expression.

This is a variation of Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana, a standing balance pose that challenges stability and hamstring flexibility. My practice focuses on maintaining alignment and drishti, or focused gaze, which I teach as essential elements for balance.

This standing hip-opening posture is a preparation for more complex poses like the leg-behind-head series. It requires balance and deep hip flexion, which we cultivate progressively in our classes.

About this collection

We avoid shortcuts. Whether it is an arm balance or a deep backbend, we use specific props like wall ropes, blocks, and chairs to safely deconstruct the posture. This method allows you to understand the exact engagement of muscles required, ensuring that when you do move into the full expression, it is built on stability rather than momentum.

Advanced yoga is not about how deep you can bend or how long you can hold a handstand. It is about understanding the structural integrity of your body. In our Sharira Sadhana intensives, we strip away the performance aspect of asana.

We approach complex postures like Kapotasana or Eka Pada Koundinyasana by breaking them down into systemic drills. If you cannot hold a stable plank, you are not ready for a handstand. We use the wall for traction to open the spine, and chairs to support hip mobility, so you can explore your range of motion without the risk of injury.

This is a progressive environment. You might be working with blocks for months, and that is exactly how it should be. We focus on the anatomy of movement, teaching you how to safely navigate deep twists and challenging arm balances. By the time you reach the peak pose, your body has already built the necessary strength and awareness to sustain it. If you are looking for a quick fix, this is not the place. If you are looking for a technical, disciplined path to master complex asanas, you are in the right studio.

My name is Vishwanath, and I teach yoga as a science, not a performance. If you are here for shortcuts or social media poses, this is not the place. I demand discipline, patience, and a willingness to study the mechanics of your own body as deeply as you do the practice.
