My philosophy is simple. Say NO to exercise in the name of yoga, to extreme practices like 108 Surya Namaskars, and say YES to the traditional path that builds true strength, flexibility, and mental balance.
About My Philosophy: Traditional vs. Fancy Yoga
Many students come to me because they got injured doing 'Power' or 'fast' yoga elsewhere. They were forcing their bodies into poses without knowing how to engage their muscles or align their spine. At my Arekere studio, we stop the rush. We teach you to hold, breathe, and align properly, which is how you actually fix PCOD, thyroid, or back pain issues.
I see people trying various high-intensity fitness trends and calling it yoga. That is fitness, not yoga. In my studio, we follow the Yoga Sutras. We use props like wooden bricks, bolsters, and wall ropes to help you get into a pose correctly, rather than struggling and risking an injury.
Whether you are dealing with PCOD, need weight loss, or just want to fix your posture, the technique is everything.
- The Problem with 'Fancy Yoga': It often ignores skeletal alignment. When you move too fast, you are not building strength; you are just stressing your joints.
- Our Approach: We focus on traditional Hatha Yoga. We hold poses to build stability. We use Pranayama to calm the nervous system.

I am Raveena. I started this journey after losing 30kgs and healing my PCOD, not through shortcuts, but through pure, traditional yoga. I run Sanatan Yoga Studio in Arekere because I want to give you the safe, honest space I wish I had when I started my own path.
