Boxing Drills and Technical Training for Kids

Here is where we stop guessing and start training. No fixed formulas, just sharp reflexes, correct form, and consistent work to build real boxing technique.

A junior boxing session focused on pad work. A coach guides the students through combinations, correcting their form and ensuring they learn the proper technique for each punch.

Young boxers practicing their jab and cross on the focus mitts. This drill is essential for learning distance management and improving hand-eye coordination under a coach's guidance.

Our junior boxers, both boys and girls, working on their punching power and accuracy during a pad work session. Each student gets dedicated time with a coach to refine their skills.

This is our state gold medal winner, Utkarsh Reddy, training on the coach's vest and pads. This advanced drill helps fighters practice body shots and close-range combinations.

A young fighter practices slipping and countering during a one-on-one pad work session. These defensive drills are crucial for building reflexes and ring awareness.

A female coach works with a junior boxer on his combinations. We ensure a supportive environment with both male and female trainers for all our students.

An advanced boxer works on power and speed with me. These high-intensity pad training sessions are designed to push experienced fighters to their limits.

About this collection

Pad work isn't just about hitting mitts; it is where we build accuracy under pressure. When I work the pads with our juniors, I watch every fist rotation and foot movement. We do not care how hard you swing if your technique is off. We fix the form first, then the speed and power come naturally.

At Rox Boxing, we strip away the fluff. Whether you are working the heavy bag or doing shadow boxing, the focus remains the same: accuracy, speed, and discipline.

Why Technique Matters

Many people walk in thinking boxing is about raw strength. They want to hit the heavy bag as hard as they can, but that is a quick way to get injured or build bad habits. We focus on the 'why' behind every jab, cross, and hook. If you do not have your stance right, you lose balance. If your rotation is off, you lose force. We drill these movements until they become muscle memory.

The Training Process

  • Pad Work: This is where we simulate real fight scenarios. It is interactive, fast, and forces you to stay alert.
  • Heavy Bag: This builds stamina and reinforces the impact of your punches. We ensure you keep your guard up while you strike.
  • Shadow Boxing: Essential for visualizing a fight and perfecting footwork. It is just you, your reflection, and your technique.

Training at our Bommanahalli facility is intense, but honest. We train in an industrial, high-ceiling space with fans, not AC. It is real work, and you will sweat, but you will leave knowing you actually improved. We separate the kids and juniors into structured batches, ensuring a 1:15 coach-to-student ratio so nobody gets lost in the crowd. If you are serious about becoming a better fighter—or just building discipline and confidence—show up, put in the work, and remember: ho jayega.
