A Glimpse Into Our Gym: Real Boxing Training
Take a look at how we train at Rox. It is about precision, footwork, and consistency. No shortcuts, just hard work in the ring.
A quick look at the different activities happening during a training session, from heavy bag work and skipping to supervised sparring in the ring.
I work with multiple students in the ring, running them through pad drills. This shows how we manage group training while still giving individual attention.
A montage of me working the pads with different boxers. Each fighter has a unique style, and I adapt my coaching to fit their needs.
More action from the ring during a group pad work session. The energy is high as boxers practice their combinations and defensive moves.
About this collection
You are looking at real training, not just a generic workout. We use pad work and heavy bag drills to build accuracy and reflexes, not just raw power. If you are ready to learn proper technique, fix your stance, and sweat through a real session, this is where you start.
How We Train at Rox
When you see these photos, you are seeing the 'chal chal' (move) mentality in action. We don't do flashy. We do drills. Whether you are in our industrial shed in Bommanahalli or working the bags, the focus is the same: discipline.
The Focus of Our Sessions
- Accuracy Over Power: You will see us working the pads. I catch punches because that is how you learn to be accurate. If you just hit a bag, you don't know if your angle is right. My coaching is about fixing those angles.
- Footwork First: A boxer who cannot move is a boxer who gets hit. We use agility ladders and consistent footwork drills to make sure you are balanced before you throw that cross or hook.
- Controlled Sparring: When we get in the 18ft ring, it is safe but real. We use full protective gear. You need to test your skills against a live opponent to see if your training is actually working.
Who This Is For
We have kids as young as 8 and adults who want to fight competitively. If you think you are too out of shape or too shy, 'ho jayega' (it will happen). Just show up. We keep the groups small enough that I can still correct your jab or your stance. If you put in the time, you will see the results.
Rox Boxing Gym
I run Rox Boxing Gym to build fighters, not just gym-goers. We keep it real with old-school training because boxing is about discipline and knowing your moves, not just punching hard.
