Strength, Speed & Agility Boxing Training
A good boxer isn't just a puncher; they're an athlete. At Rox, we use a mix of functional strength drills, agility ladders, and outdoor cardio to build the speed and explosive power you need for the ring.
Our strength and conditioning sessions include a variety of exercises. Here you see young athletes using weights and other equipment to build functional strength for boxing.
Agility ladder drills are a staple in our training. This improves footwork, coordination, and speed, which are essential for moving effectively in the ring.
Young boxers practicing their footwork drills in unison. Repetition of these basic movements builds a solid foundation for advanced boxing skills.
Taking the training to the streets. Our team on an outdoor run to build cardiovascular endurance, a critical component of a boxer's conditioning.
Outdoor training sessions allow us to work on shadow boxing and footwork in a different environment. We keep the training varied and dynamic.
Cardio and sprint drills during an outdoor session. We push our boxers to improve their stamina and explosive speed, which can make all the difference in a match.
About this collection
It is not about how much weight you can bench press; it is about how fast your feet move when the pressure is on. We use agility ladders, heavy tires, and outdoor sprints to make sure you have the conditioning to last all rounds. You will be doing functional movements that translate directly to your boxing technique, not just isolation exercises.
Most gyms just stick you on a treadmill. We don’t. At Rox, our strength and conditioning regimen is designed specifically for the requirements of a fight. Whether you are prepping for a local tournament in Bengaluru or just want to get fit, your engine needs to be as sharp as your jab.
Agility & Footwork
You will see our students drilling on ladders constantly. Speed starts at the feet. If your foundation isn't quick, your punch loses its snap. We drill footwork until it becomes muscle memory. This is what 'chal chal' (keep going) really means—staying light on your feet even when you are tired.
Functional Power
We swap isolation machines for ropes, tires, and bodyweight circuits. This builds the kind of explosive, functional power you actually use when slipping a punch or closing the distance on an opponent. We train your body to work as one unit.
Outdoor Endurance
Sometimes the best conditioning happens outside the four walls. Our outdoor runs and sprint sessions build the cardiovascular base required to keep your hands up in the final minute of the last round.
Why This Matters
Boxing is draining. If you gas out, your form breaks and you get hurt. We train to ensure you stay strong, stable, and reactive from the first bell to the last. Ho jayega—stick to the drills, and the results will follow.
Rox Boxing Gym
We aren't here to make bodybuilders; we’re here to make fighters. My team and I focus on the grit, speed, and endurance that separates a casual gym-goer from a boxer. If you’re ready to put in the work, we’ll get you there.
