Authentic Group Yoga Classes & Community Events in Koramangala
Yoga is a path best walked together. Our group sessions in Koramangala focus on collective discipline, precision, and the shared joy of practice.
In honor of Ratha Saptami, our community came together to perform 132 rounds of Surya Namaskara. This powerful outdoor practice, accompanied by Vedic chanting, was a beautiful celebration of devotion and collective energy.

The joy of practice is evident on our students' faces. This clip shows practitioners moving through different asanas, from wall-supported stretches to balancing poses, all part of a typical class at our shala.
Students work on preparations for Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) and other floor-based postures. Our group classes focus on building foundational strength and flexibility in a synchronized, meditative flow.

The smiles on our practitioners' faces are a testament to the joy found in the practice. Here, students use the wall and blocks for support, finding ease and openness in their postures during a group class.

About this collection
Classes here are not about keeping pace with a crowd; they are about understanding your own body. We rely on hands-on adjustments and specific props like wall ropes, blocks, and chairs to ensure that every movement—from basic standing poses to complex backbends—is done with correct alignment. You will be working in a space where technical discipline is the priority, allowing you to practice safely and develop a deeper connection between breath and movement.
The journey at Nirakula is rooted in the belief that yoga is a science of life, not just a physical workout for Instagram. When you join our group classes, you are stepping into a community that values 'vidvatvam' (wisdom) and hard work.
The Practice
Our Hatha and Vinyasa flow classes are designed to be rigorous. We emphasize the use of 'Yoga Kurunta' (wall ropes) and other props to safely access deep ranges of motion, whether you are working on spinal traction or deep hip openers. Every session is led by an instructor who provides active, hands-on adjustments rather than just demonstrating from the front. This ensures your alignment is monitored, preventing injury and helping you find stability in your asana practice.
Why Practice Together?
Community events are central to our philosophy. We organize gatherings like the Ratha Saptami celebration, where practitioners come together for collective Surya Namaskara rounds accompanied by chanting. These moments are about shared energy and devotion. Whether it is a workshop on backbends, arm balances, or seated twists, the goal is to create a space where you can learn from peers and instructors alike. Our studio in Koramangala is equipped with wood flooring designed for grip, providing a simple, focused environment for your daily discipline. If you are looking for a place where you can switch off from the noise and focus on the mechanics of your practice, this is where you belong.
