About Wisdom Talks: Yoga Philosophy & Storytelling
What’s Real Yoga, Anyway?
I don’t do Insta-perfect poses here. Yoga, for me, is about bending your mind, not just your body. Most of us can twist into asanas but struggle when life throws a curveball. This space is for anyone wanting to go beyond the superficial - we dig into the real journey, straight from the mind.
Ancient Texts, Modern Life
We crack open ancient Indian wisdom - Panchatantra life lessons, Ramayana wisdom stories, and so much more. These aren’t just old tales; they’re full-on guides for navigating today’s world. You’ll see how stories of animals, kings, and sages hold up as solid advice for work, relationships, and those “what now?” moments.
How We Roll: Stories & Real Talk
It’s all about mindful storytelling sessions. I narrate, you question, we dissect. You’ll get stories within stories, sometimes tangled and deep, and I’ll challenge your thinking. Expect to talk, ask, and rethink - not just sit and listen.
What You’ll Dig Into
- Friendship: Not your “kaafi kudiyoke hogona baa guru” (let’s go for coffee, friend) type - we talk about true alliances
- Trust & caution: “Naati vishvaset” (don’t trust blindly) is a core lesson, especially for anyone with big responsibilities
- Human nature: “Sahajam vairam” (natural enmity) helps decode why people do what they do
- Karma, destiny, and wise action - straight from the texts
- We chant, too - learning meanings behind mantras and traditional invocations
Who’s This For?
Curious minds. Culture geeks. Anyone who craves more than a sweat session. If you want Indian philosophy discussion or just want to get wiser about life, you’ll fit right in. All you need is an open mind and a bit of patience - the journey isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it.

My Story
You want my story? It starts with questions, like in the Panchatantra. Can a crow and mouse be friends? We talk about such things in class - not just as stories, but real lessons. For me, yoga is more than bending and stretching. Students come for asanas, but stay for the deeper journey. My TTC isn’t selfie yoga, it’s about discipline, theory, and finding real friendship with yourself. Some who came as students now teach. That’s the joy, watching yoga friendship grow, slowly, like a shadow.
