Acro Yoga Workshops in Bangalore: Play, Trust & Balance
Discover the playful side of yoga by teaming up with a partner. These sessions are all about building trust, having a laugh, and supporting each other as we explore new movements together.
Come play and connect in my Acro Yoga workshop. This practice combines yoga, acrobatics, and healing arts to build trust and communication. It's a beginner friendly session where we focus on having fun and supporting each other, even if we wobble.
About Acro Yoga: Play & Connection
Acro yoga can look intimidating, but here, it is mostly about learning to trust your partner and finding balance together. We keep groups small, typically 12 to 15 people, so I can personally spot everyone and make sure you are safe while you wobble, laugh, and find your edge.
What to Expect
Think of these sessions as a mix of yoga, acrobatics, and healing arts. My workshops go beyond standard asana classes by focusing on physical and mental connection. We typically host these as weekend immersive modules, spanning 5 to 6 hours over two days. This allows us to move past theory and actually get into the flow of partner communication.
Why Partner Yoga?
It is easy to get stuck in our own heads during a solo practice. Acro yoga forces you to pay attention to someone else. You become both the base and the flyer, learning to communicate without words, adjusting your weight, and finding stability in someone else’s support. You will fall, you will likely land on your bottom, and that is absolutely fine. It is how you learn.
Logistics & Safety
Safety is my priority. I limit group sizes to ensure I can provide hands-on spotting and manual adjustments for complex moves. We usually host these in boutique creative spaces around Central and South Bangalore, like Smriti Nandan, where we have the room to move safely. I often co-host with experts like Vinay Kumar Jesta to bring in a deeper level of technical knowledge. Whether you are coming with a friend or solo to meet someone new, you will find a space that is as much about community as it is about strength.
