A collection of moments from my journey in Bharatanatyam. From the rhythmic precision of pure dance to the deep emotion of storytelling, these pieces reflect my devotion to the art form and the traditional Thanjavur Bani style.

A moment of complete surrender from my solo thematic production, "Venkatesha Shreesha." Here, I portray a devotee's final arrival at the holy abode of Tirumala, a culmination of a long spiritual journey. The lighting and projection are designed to evoke a sense of divinity and awe.

This is a dynamic pose from a traditional Bharatanatyam Margam, showcasing the energy and precision of the Thanjavur Bani style. The full araimandi (half-seated posture) and extended limbs are characteristic of the pure dance sequences, or Nritta, that I perform.

An excerpt from "Venkatesha Shreesha," where I use abhinaya, or expressive storytelling, to convey the emotions of a devotee seeing the Lord. The performance is elevated by the live Carnatic orchestra, whose music guides every step and gesture.

A close up capturing the essence of Bhakti, or devotion, a central theme in my recitals. The subtle expression and hand gestures are key to conveying the intricate stories and emotions of the characters I portray on stage.

A powerful stance from my production "Shivaantarangam," an offering to Lord Shiva. This pose captures the divine energy and cosmic presence of the deity, a theme I explore through intricate choreography taught by my Guru.

Performing alongside my Guru, Sri P. Praveen Kumar, and the Chithkala Ensemble. This image from our production 'Thyagaraja Hrt Sadana' reflects the unity and shared passion of our group performances.

This clip features a Trikala Jati, a rhythmic sequence performed in three speeds. It highlights the complex footwork and mathematical precision that is a hallmark of the traditional Bharatanatyam repertoire, a challenging yet deeply satisfying part of the art form.

With my revered Guru, Sri P. Praveen Kumar. His guidance is the foundation of all my work, from choreography and aesthetics to the very spirit of my dance. I am ever grateful for his blessings and belief in me.

About Featured

Whether you are looking for a short recital for a corporate event or a traditional Margam for a private gathering, the key is the live orchestra. I perform with a dedicated ensemble from namma Bengaluru—vocal, mridangam, flute, and nattuvangam—to ensure the music breathes with every step I take, something recorded audio simply cannot replicate.
