From the grand stage to quiet temple offerings, here is a glimpse into my Bharatanatyam journey. Whether it's a solo recital or a group ensemble, my dance is always about devotion, rhythm, and storytelling.

A moment of complete surrender during my solo recital at the Mumbai Natyanjali festival. For me, every performance is an offering, a chance to connect with the divine through rhythm and expression, dressed in traditional silk and temple jewelry.

On the auspicious day of Shri Ram Navami, I had the joy of performing 'Rangapura Vihara', a piece celebrating Lord Rama. This clip captures the dynamic energy and storytelling that I strive to bring to the stage, backed by the soulful sounds of a live Carnatic orchestra.

The power of dancing together is immense. Here is my dance family and I in a moment of synchronized grace during our 'Nrithyotsavam' production. These group performances are a celebration of our shared passion and dedication to the art form.

There is a unique magic in dancing within a sacred space. This was a blissful, impromptu performance to the Lalitha Sahasranamam at the Peringottukara Devasthanam in Kerala, where the temple's divine ambiance became a part of the dance itself.

Abhinaya, or expression, is the soul of Bharatanatyam. In this close-up from a performance, I am channeling the story through subtle gestures and emotions, inviting the audience to feel the narrative as deeply as I do.

Beyond dancing, I sometimes have the honor of performing the nattuvangam. Here, I am conducting the rhythmic cycle for my Guru's performance, a role that connects me deeply to the musical foundation of Bharatanatyam and the beautiful synergy between dancer and musician.

Namaskaram. Here is a personal invitation and a little glimpse of my practice for 'Anubhava', a divine experience I am presenting in Bengaluru. It is a joy to share my journey with you, from the practice room to the stage.

About Featured

When choosing between my performance packages, remember that the experience changes entirely with the music. My solo recitals using studio-recorded tracks are perfect for corporate events or shorter cultural segments, while my Margam recitals—which feature a live Carnatic orchestra—offer a deep, 60 to 90-minute immersion into the traditional repertoire.

Crafting the Performance

Bharatanatyam is a conversation between the dancer and the audience. Whether I am performing a varnam, a padam, or an energetic thillana, my focus remains on the storytelling—the Abhinaya. For those booking a group ensemble, we require a clear stage area of at least 20ft x 15ft to execute our geometric formations safely.

The Musical Experience

Music is the soul of my dance. My live orchestra performances are more than just a dance; they are a collaborative art form. The interplay between the Nattuvangam, the mridangam, and the vocalist creates a dynamic energy that simply cannot be replicated by recorded audio. If you are planning an intimate gathering or a traditional wedding function, these live sets bring an unmatched intensity to the room.

Where I Perform

I am based in Mumbai but travel frequently to Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kerala to perform. Whether it's a temple festival, an auditorium showcase, or a private event, I ensure that the costume, jewelry, and overall aesthetic are perfectly in tune with the occasion.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you provide the music? For solo performances, I use high-quality studio master tracks. For the traditional Margam recital, I coordinate the full live Carnatic ensemble.
  • How much space do you need? For solo performances, a standard stage is fine. Group ensembles require a minimum of 20ft x 15ft for choreography.
  • What if I am a beginner? My performances are tailored to the event, but if you are interested in learning, I also offer workshops based on the traditional Guru-Shishya parampara.
