Venkatesha Shreesha: A Devotee's Journey
This is a solo thematic production that narrates a devotee's spiritual pilgrimage to the holy abode of Tirumala. The performance explores the devotion, awe, and compassion associated with Lord Venkateshwara, brought to life with choreography from my Guru.
Shivaantarangam: An Offering to the Primordial Shiva
An exploration of the multifaceted nature of Lord Shiva, from the fierce to the serene. This thematic recital uses powerful movements and expressions to depict stories and attributes of the primordial deity, as conceptualized by my Guru.
The World of the Nayika: Love & Longing
This collection showcases pieces centered on the 'Nayika' or heroine, exploring a spectrum of emotions from love and longing to playful anger and devotion. It includes items from my production 'MAANINI' and Varnams like 'Nathanai Azhaithu Vaa Sakhiye'.
Traditional Margam & Festival Performances
A showcase of the classic Bharatanatyam Margam repertoire, the foundation of my training in the Thanjavur Bani. This includes performances from various prestigious dance festivals like Kanasu and Ninada Nruthyotsava, featuring pure dance (Nritta) and expressive storytelling (Abhinaya).
Chithkala Ensemble: Group Productions
I am honored to perform as part of the Chithkala Ensemble under the direction of my Guru, Sri P. Praveen Kumar. These are glimpses from our larger group productions, including 'Thyagaraja Hrt Sadana', which allow for grander choreographic explorations.
The Soul of the Recital: Live Carnatic Orchestra
Every performance is elevated by the energy of a live Carnatic orchestra, featuring vocals, nattuvangam, mridangam, and flute. This collaboration is essential to the authentic experience, with most of my accompanying artists based here in namma Bengaluru.
