What Yoga Means to Me
Yoga is my happy hour, my self-love. I’ve practiced for decades, and even now at 70, the mat feels like home. People get shocked seeing me in tough poses, but honestly, it’s just the magic of regular practice. Age? Bas ek number hai (it's just a number).
My Approach
I believe in holistic yoga. That means it’s not just about touching your toes or doing asanas (poses). Here, we work on the whole self. My classes mix movement, mindful breathing techniques, and meditation for all ages. Every session aims for balance - body, mind, and a bit of masti (fun).
- We start with simple asanas, building strength and flexibility, moving from basics like Trikonasan (triangle pose) to deep stretches and, if you’re up for it, tough ones like Halasan (plow pose).
- We always give time to pranayam (breathwork), whether it’s energizing with Bhramari or just slowing down.
- We finish with meditation, letting your mind get a little stillness.
Who Can Join
Doesn’t matter if you’re stiff or can’t sit cross-legged. Young, old, absolute beginner, or someone advanced - sab ko welcome hai (everyone’s welcome). All you need is a little willingness to show up for yourself.

My Story
Namaste, I’m Meenakshi. People see my yoga photos and can’t believe I’m 70. I just laugh - this is what yoga does! For me, it’s not just exercise, it’s my own quiet happy hour. On my mat, whether it’s a gentle stretch or a full split, I feel alive. Pranayam, meditation, all of it keeps me peaceful. Doesn’t matter your age or where you start, this journey is for everyone.

Yoga, Pranayam, Meditation & More - I teach traditional yoga for seniors, pranayam, mindful meditation practice, plus aerobics, Zumba, step aerobics, Pilates, and prenatal yoga classes, online and offline.
