Kids' Yoga and Functional Fitness Coaching
It is not just about exercise. It is about giving your child the tools to handle stress, build confidence, and grow up strong. My sessions for kids combine playful yoga with functional strength training, turning movement into a lifelong habit.

A young client practices hanging from a pull-up bar, a great way to build grip strength and decompress the spine.
About this collection
Forget boring drills. In these sessions, your child learns how to safely manage their own body weight—like pull-ups, squats, and balancing poses—while using simple props we have at home. I am right there with them, providing physical support for form, which is essential to prevent injury and build their confidence, whether we are working in my Jigani studio or at your home.
Why Strength Matters for Kids
There is a myth that strength training is dangerous for children. The reality is that guided, bodyweight-based movement is the single best thing you can do for their long-term health. By teaching kids how to perform a proper squat or safely use a pull-up bar, we are building their bone density and coordination early on. My approach replaces sedentary screen time with functional movement that improves posture and focus.
How My Sessions Work
- Safe Progression: We start with the basics. Whether it is a plank or a simple yoga balance, every move is broken down. No one is expected to get it perfect on day one.
- Yoga for the Mind: It is not just about physical flexibility. We use yoga poses to help kids learn how to calm down, focus, and breathe when they feel anxious or stressed.
- Personalized Coaching: Every child is different. I adapt the intensity based on their energy levels and physical capabilities. If your child is shy, we take it slow. If they are hyperactive, we channel that energy into productive strength work.
Common Questions
Do we need a gym? No. My coaching works perfectly in a 6x4 ft space in your living room. We use what you already have—chairs, towels, or cushions—to practice.
Is it suitable for my child? Yes. I work with kids of all ages and fitness levels. The goal is to build a healthy foundation, not to create athletes. Whether your goal is posture correction, strength, or simply finding an activity they enjoy, we can customize a plan.
Where do you coach? I offer in-person training at my studio in Jigani, or I can come to your home anywhere in Bengaluru.
Livstylrs
I am Devesh, and I started this because I want kids to have a stronger foundation than the screen-time generation. I do not believe in 'kids' classes' that are just glorified playtime. We work on real strength and mindful movement that they can actually use as they grow up.
