Join me for a 9-day Navratri journey where we honor the Divine Mother through asana, pranayama, and ritual. We move beyond the workout to explore the stillness and inner fire that defines real yoga.

On Navratri Day 9, we honor Maa Siddhidatri, the giver of spiritual fulfillment. This video guides you through Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing) and a nature offering to complete the circle of devotion.

For Day 9, we practice Padmasana (Lotus Pose) or Savasana to honor Maa Siddhidatri, the goddess of divine completeness. This is not just rest; it's a return to your own wholeness and grace.

On Day 8, we honor Maa Mahagauri, the goddess of purity and peace. We practice Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Bend) to melt the ego, lengthen the spine, and invite inward reflection.

Day 7 is for Maa Kalaratri, the fierce slayer of shadows. We practice Malasana (Garland Pose), a deep, earthy squat that grounds you in your truth and helps release fear stored in the hips.

On Day 6, we channel the fire of Maa Katyayani, the warrior goddess. This video guides you through Bhastrika Pranayama (Bellows Breath) and mantra chanting to awaken the Durga within and build sacred strength.

To honor the warrior goddess Maa Katyayani on Day 6, we practice Utkata Konasana (Goddess Pose). This pose grounds your energy, fires up your inner power, and reminds you that your strength is sacred.

Day 5 is dedicated to Maa Skandamata, the nurturing mother. We practice Balasana (Child's Pose) to symbolize a humble bow of devotion and trust, a sacred rest before the next rise.

On Day 4, we honor Maa Kushmanda, the radiant creator of the cosmos. This video guides you through Kapalabhati Pranayama (Shining Skull Breath) and a sunlight ritual to ignite your inner brilliance.

To channel the expansive energy of Maa Kushmanda on Day 4, we practice Ustrasana (Camel Pose). This heart-opening backbend activates the solar plexus and invites you to lean into your own radiance.

On Day 3, we invoke Maa Chandraghanta, the warrior of fierce grace. This video guides you through Ujjayi (Victorious Breath) and a bay leaf ritual to clear fear and make space for courage.

About Navratri Special: A 9-Day Spiritual Journey

This series is my way of bringing the ancient energy of Navratri into your modern routine. Each day, I pair a specific asana, like Malasana for grounding or Ustrasana for heart-opening, with a simple ritual, such as pranayama or a nature offering. It is a 9-day sadhana, or disciplined practice, designed to help you tap into your inner strength, regardless of your experience level.

More Than Just A Workout

Navratri is a celebration of the Divine Mother, but for me, it is also a perfect time for a reset. My 9-day journey isn't about achieving the perfect pose. It is about Tapas, the inner fire that helps us show up for ourselves.

What To Expect

In this series, we work through three pillars to align your mind, body, and spirit:

  • Asana: Each day focuses on a specific posture that channels the energy of that day's form of Durga. For instance, we practice Warrior 2 to channel Maa Chandraghanta's courage, or Tadasana to ground ourselves with Maa Shailputri.
  • Pranayama: We use breath as our anchor. From the energizing Bhastrika breath to the calming Nadi Shodhana, these techniques are the bridge between your mat and your mental peace.
  • Rituals: We incorporate simple, intentional acts like lighting a diya or making a nature offering. These are not superstitions; they are mindfulness tools that help you carry your yoga practice off the mat and into your day.

Who Is This For?

Whether you are a complete beginner or a long-time practitioner, this journey welcomes you. You do not need to be flexible or 'in shape' to begin. You only need a willingness to breathe, move, and reflect. If you are in Gurgaon, you can join me at my DLF Phase 4 studio for manual corrections and community energy, or join via our interactive online sessions to practice from the comfort of your home.
