About Spiritual Sadhana & Yogic Lifestyle
This cluster showcases our most intense spiritual discipline: the 9-day Gangajal sadhana in Rishikesh. This is not a holiday, but a period of deep cleansing through fasting, silence, and focused Dhyan. We share these visuals to show that the path of yoga eventually leads away from the mat and toward a fundamental realignment of how you live, eat, and think.
Beyond the Physical
While our studio classes in Rohini focus on Hatha and Iyengar alignment, this cluster reveals the other half of our work: the internal journey.
The Gangajal Sadhana
This is our most rigorous practice. We spend nine days in Rishikesh, fasting and consuming only Gangajal. This is designed to:
- Purify the mind: By removing the constant input of food, we force the mind to face its own patterns and restlessness.
- Practice Swadhyaya: We use this time for 'self-study', observing how the body reacts when stripped of comfort.
- Connect with Nature: The banks of the Ganga provide the perfect setting to realize that we are just a small part of a larger whole.
Is this for you?
These retreats require mental preparation and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone. You do not need to be an expert in asana to start, but you do need an honest desire to learn. Our Yogiparivaar community supports everyone who joins us, whether you are a local student from Delhi or a practitioner joining from abroad. If you have been doing asanas and feel that you are ready to explore the silence behind the posture, this is the next step.
