About Community & Education
Most interactions between children and dogs go wrong because we treat dogs like toys. In our 'Kids and Canines' sessions, we teach children the science of reading body language—like why a sleeping dog should never be approached—and how to interact safely. It is not just about fun; it is about preventing accidents and fostering respect, which we see pay off every weekend when our rescue dogs interact with new visitors.
We believe dog training is 50% human training. Our workshops are designed to bridge the gap between human curiosity and canine comfort. We focus on teaching empathy—helping children recognize when a dog is stressed, asking for space, or simply needing rest. It is a critical lesson for any family planning to bring a pet home or just wanting to be safe around community dogs.
Beyond education, our ranch in Whitefield serves as a community hub. We invite you to volunteer, which is one of the most effective ways to socialize our rescue dogs. Whether you are walking them, hanging out in the play area, or helping us manage events, your time helps these dogs trust humans again. We frequently host adoption drives and flea markets, creating a space where Bengaluru’s pet parents can meet, swap stories, and learn from experts. If you have been looking for a place to engage deeply with animal welfare, come spend a weekend with us.
