About Puppy Yoga: Chaos & Cuddles
Don't come expecting a silent, serious yoga session. Our classes are intentionally chaotic. You'll be attempting a stretch while a puppy decides your yoga mat is their new bed, or maybe a tiny furball tries to nibble your hair. It’s not about the perfect downward dog—it’s about the 15 to 20 minutes of dedicated cuddle time and the joy of socialising shelter pups who are waiting for a forever home.
What Actually Happens
We bring the shelter to you. Each 60-minute session is split into a beginner-friendly yoga flow and dedicated playtime with 10 to 15 rescue puppies or kittens. We provide sanitized mats, hygiene handlers to clean up any 'accidents', and a team that ensures the environment is safe for both you and the pups.
Why We Do This
We started Pawga in 2020 because we realized adoption stories shouldn't just be about sadness. By bringing these indie pups out of the shelter and into studios in Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, and beyond, we give them a chance to show their personalities. You aren't just here for the mental health boost; you are actively socializing these animals and helping them find their forever families.
The Details
- Who is welcome: Everyone. Yoga experience is not required. Bring your friends, your kids, or your date.
- The Pups: All animals are rescues from our partner shelters. They are available for adoption free of cost.
- Our Impact: A portion of your ticket goes directly to our partner shelters for food, vaccines, and medical care.
If you see a pup you fall in love with, let us know before you leave. We facilitate the entire adoption process and love nothing more than seeing our Pawga fam grow.
