About Acro Yoga: The Art of Teamwork
In my acro yoga sessions, we focus on the roles of both the base and the flyer. You do not need to be a gymnast or super flexible to start. We break down the moves so you feel safe and supported, even when you are upside down or balancing.
Acro yoga is a dialogue between two bodies. It is a partner practice where we learn to communicate without words, relying on physical connection to build trust. When we practice together, one person acts as the base, providing the stable foundation, while the other acts as the flyer.
Whether you are looking to book a session for yourself and a partner or want to join a group, my focus is always on safety and progression. We start with static poses like 'Bird' or 'Throne' to get comfortable with the weight-sharing dynamic before moving into flows. I provide hands-on spotting for every move, ensuring that you can explore your limits without fear of falling.
We can set this up almost anywhere. I travel across Bengaluru to meet you, whether that is in an open park, a rooftop, or a quiet indoor studio. If you are nervous, that is completely normal. Most of my students start with a bit of hesitation. My job is to guide you through the technical drills so you can build the strength and confidence to play, fall, laugh, and try again.
