We don't believe in mindless repetition. Our classes break down complex MMA and BJJ movements into simple, actionable steps so you actually understand the mechanics behind every fight.

A coach provides one on one instruction for a student drilling a guard pass. We believe in giving personalized feedback to ensure every member understands the technique correctly.

A typical class scene where students are paired up to drill the technique of the day. This focused drilling is key to building the reflexes needed for live rolling.

Students watch intently as a coach demonstrates a technique from the guard position. We create an environment where everyone is focused on learning and improving together.

We teach advanced jiu jitsu concepts to help you upgrade your game. This video shows drills for the Iminari roll, single leg X transitions, and other modern grappling techniques.

After a technique is shown, the mats are filled with students drilling the move. This is how we ensure the concepts are understood and can be applied under pressure.

About this collection

Rato mat yaar (don't just memorize, man)—this is the philosophy we live by when we break down techniques. You won't find generic drills here that look good on camera but fail in a real fight. We focus on chaining moves together—like transitioning from a single-leg takedown into cage control—because we want you to understand the 'why' behind every movement. Whether you are drilling a guard pass or perfecting your sprawl, you are learning to solve a problem with your body, not just mimicking a coach.

Concept-Based Coaching

Martial arts is a language. If you just memorize moves, you get stuck when your opponent does something unexpected. Our curriculum focuses on concepts over choreography. In our BJJ and grappling sessions, we teach you to understand leverage, pressure, and timing. This is how you develop the ability to adapt during live rolling, regardless of your opponent's size or strength.

What Happens on the Mats

  • Chained Movements: We drill sequences, not single tricks. You learn how one technique flows into the next.
  • Live Feedback: Drill, spar, and get corrected immediately. Our coaches watch every pairing to ensure your mechanics are sharp.
  • High-Impact Safety: We train on professional Fuji mats because we know you need a safe surface to push your limits, especially during throws and takedowns.
  • Inclusive Environment: Whether you are prepping for an ADCC competition or just looking to learn self-defense, our tribe is here to help. You will find senior belts helping white belts, and that is exactly how we keep the standard high.

Building Your Foundation

For beginners, the first few weeks are about building a base—stance, motion, and level changes. For the experienced, it is about refinement and breaking through plateaus with advanced transitions like Iminari rolls or specific guard passes. Our goal is to make sure that by the time you leave the gym, you have not just worked out, but you have actually leveled up your fight IQ.
