This is what we mean by finding peace in strength. Using Iyengar ropes, we can hold inversions like this supported headstand variation, allowing the body to decompress and the mind to calm. It’s a practice of trust and surrender.
Here, I am assisting students with a supported backbend using a chair. My approach is hands-on because alignment is everything. "Ruko, alignment sahi karo" (Hold, get your alignment right) is something you'll hear often, ensuring you practice safely and effectively.
The energy of a group class is special. Here you see our yoga family moving together in a warrior pose flow, each person at their own pace but united in breath and intention. We build strength not just in our bodies, but as a community.
I've had the pleasure of training the wonderful Sonaakshi Raaj for eight years. Here she is demonstrating the balance of Vrikshasana (Tree Pose) and the strength of Sirsasana (Headstand). It shows that with consistent practice, your body can achieve amazing things.
Our training isn't just about traditional asanas. We incorporate functional fitness to build real-world strength. This student is using a weighted bag to build power in her squats and planks, making her yoga practice and daily life stronger.
We offer gentle and safe prenatal yoga to support mothers-to-be on their beautiful journey. This session focuses on mindful breathing and gentle hip-opening in Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle Pose) to prepare the body and calm the mind.
It was a pleasure to welcome our friends from London and Warwick to the studio. Hearing them say how much better their stiff backs felt after a session of wall yoga and rope work reminds me why I do this. Yoga truly has no borders.
Whether it's a synchronized headstand or a balancing warrior pose, our classes are about shared progress. We support each other, learn together, and grow stronger as a collective. This is the spirit of our yoga family.

I don’t believe in rushing a pose just to tick a box. When you step into my Santacruz studio, you will hear me say, 'Ruko, alignment sahi karo' (Hold, get your alignment right). We use rope walls, chairs, and weighted props to safely guide your body into deep stretches and inversions, regardless of whether you are recovering from an injury or training for advanced asanas.
At Body Temple, we strip away the intimidation often found in yoga studios. We believe your body is your temple, and my job is to help you maintain it with discipline and respect.
Our Training Philosophy
Our approach is heavily influenced by Iyengar yoga, but we adapt it for the modern individual. If you have a stiff back or chronic pain, we don't just ask you to stretch; we use specific props like rope walls (Yoga Kurunta) for spinal traction, metal chairs, and heavy wooden bricks. This allows you to hold poses longer and deeper, safely relieving tension that standard mat work often misses.

- Home Personal Training: We bring the practice to you. Whether you are in Bandra, Juhu, or Vile Parle, our trainers travel to your space for focused, mat-based Hatha or Vinyasa flows.
- Small Groups: We maintain a community atmosphere where the energy is supportive, not competitive. It is about growing together—sharing tea, stories, and the occasional post-class lunch.
