Striking, Kickboxing & Muay Thai Training
Forget rote memorization and static drills. We use an ecological approach to striking, where you learn to solve problems in real-time through live sparring and functional movement.
A look at a personal training session focusing on Muay Thai teep combinations. We drill for precision and power, ensuring every strike has a purpose.
About Striking: Kickboxing & Muay Thai
We don't just teach you to hit a pad. In our striking sessions, we focus on functional movement—like the teep (push kick)—and how to deploy it under pressure. You won't find mindless repetition here. Instead, you'll engage in live sparring scenarios that force you to adapt, fail, and eventually master the technique because you understand why it works, not just how to do it.
Most gyms treat striking like a dance. They have you memorise long combinations that fall apart the second someone moves in an unpredictable way. At Reign MMA, we throw that model out. My goal is to teach you how to fight, not just how to look like a fighter.
The Ecological Method
I use a constraints-led approach. You will face situations that force you to find your own solutions. Whether it is finding the right range to land a teep or managing the distance against a wrestler, you are constantly solving problems. This creates a neural connection to the movement that you just cannot get from hitting air or static pads.
What You Will Learn
Our training blends Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA striking.
- Muay Thai & Kickboxing: We use hands, feet, elbows, and knees in live sparring sessions. You learn to control the range, manage your posture, and execute strikes that actually carry power.
- Reality-Based Sparring: Expect a raw, garage-style training environment. There is no air conditioning to hide the discomfort. You will sweat, you will get tired, and you will learn how to operate when you are uncomfortable.
Who Is This For?
This is for people who want results, not aesthetics. If you are a beginner, I will teach you the fundamentals through games, not just drills. If you are a competitor, we will put you into high-pressure scenarios that mirror real fight conditions.
We are not a gym for people who want to stand in front of a mirror. We are a gym for those who want to build a real skill set. If you are ready to put in the work and leave your ego at the door, come in for a trial session.
Vighnesh Nathan
I started Reign MMA to build a community, not just a business. We train for reality. If you are looking for comfort, this is not the place, but if you want to learn combat skills that hold up in a real fight, I will help you get there.
