Our Team: Culture, Growth & Community
We aren’t just a fight gym. We’re a community of practitioners united by a simple rule: leave your ego at the door. Here is where beginners grow into fighters.
My first colored belts, Jitendra and Long. These two deserve their blue belts for their loyalty, hard work, and success. We don't build sandbaggers here; we build skilled martial artists.
The team after our belt promotion ceremony. I'm privileged to be surrounded by a team that embodies the values I've always wanted to cultivate: no ego, just hard work and mutual support.
Congratulations to our future champ Almeer on his yellow belt promotion. It's always rewarding to see young talent develop and progress through the ranks.
Celebrating our students earning their first stripe. Every step on the jiu-jitsu journey is important, and we recognize the hard work it takes to get there.
We build ourselves through adversity. Here with a student, embodying the spirit of our team where we find strength in our weaknesses and grow together.
January 1st, and the team is on the mats. Showing up is the first step, and Team Reign MMA always shows up, ready to work towards a greater goal.
My intention is to create a new standard and a different culture for martial arts in India. Looking at this group of dedicated individuals, I know we are getting there.
There are no easy days at Reign MMA. This is a snapshot of the team after a tough session, everyone on fire and pushing each other to be better.
We were happy to have Pro MMA fighter Connor drop in for some rolls. Our doors are always open to dedicated martial artists who want to share the mats.
The competition team is grinding hard as the season approaches. A few more days of this, and then it's time for the fun part. Let's go!
About Our Team: Culture, Growth & Community
Before you book, understand that we don't do 'easy' days. You’re walking into a raw, garage-style training environment in HBR Layout where the focus is on live, game-like problem-solving, not repeating static drills. If you’re looking for luxury, you won't find it here. But if you’re looking to actually get good at fighting by training with a team that has your back, you’ll find your place on our mats.
At Reign MMA, we’ve stripped away the noise. You won't find air-conditioned vanity or commercial machines here. What you will find is a group of practitioners—from hobbyists to pro fighters—who show up on January 1st just as consistently as they do on any other day.
My coaching follows an ecological approach. This means you learn by fighting, adapting, and solving problems in real-time. We don't just teach rote techniques; we teach you how to think and function under pressure. Whether you are aiming for a belt promotion or just want to survive a sparring round, you are going to be pushed.
We value consistency and loyalty over raw talent. If you have a 'me-first' attitude, you won't fit here. But if you are ready to put in the work, drop the ego, and support the person rolling next to you, you’ll find a team that will elevate your game. We aren’t building a gym; we’re building a culture that lasts long after the session ends.

I’m Vighnesh. I started this place because I was tired of the ego-driven culture in martial arts. We train hard, we sweat, and we help each other grow—plain and simple.
