About The Art of Eight Limbs: Muay Thai & Kickboxing
You will not find watered down cardio here. We train for the ring, which means you learn to throw proper teeps, elbows, and knees from day one. Expect to put in real work on the pads and bags, with supervised sparring sessions that teach you how to manage distance, absorb impact, and counter with precision.
Muay Thai is called the Art of Eight Limbs for a reason. You are using your punches, kicks, elbows, and knees to control the fight. At Thunder Martial Arts, we break this down for you, whether you are a complete beginner or an athlete preparing for a state or international level competition.
The Training Process
We start with the basics of stance, footwork, and rhythm. You cannot fight if you cannot move. Once your fundamentals are solid, we move to heavy bag drills and pad work. This is where you develop the power and conditioning required for combat sports. For those ready to step up, we offer controlled, supervised sparring in the ring. This is how you learn to see strikes coming and keep your composure under pressure.
Why Train With Us
Our gym in Vidyaranyapura is a community. We do not just show you the moves and walk away. We fix your technique, we push your cardio, and we keep each other accountable. Many students join us to lose weight or build strength, but they stay because they fall in love with the discipline of martial arts. We incorporate MMA fundamentals, including wrestling and BJJ, ensuring you have a well-rounded skill set.
Your Path Forward
We offer morning and evening batches, six days a week. You do not need experience, but you do need to show up ready to work. If your goal is self-defence, we teach you skills that actually function in real life. If your goal is the ring, we run fight camps that prepare you for the intensity of competition. You are not just a client here, you are part of the team.
