Rishikesh Yoga Retreats by the Ganga

About Rishikesh: A Sacred River Journey
We balance discipline with surrender. My Rishikesh retreats are not just about relaxation; we dedicate mornings to rigorous Sadhana, pranayama, and inversion workshops. It is intensive work, but with the Ganga as our witness, the physical progress feels effortless and the mental clarity follows naturally.
The Rhythm of the Retreat
Yoga, for me, is about merging with something bigger than myself. When we practice in Rishikesh, the environment does half the work. We follow a disciplined schedule that helps you slow down before you attempt to overtake in your practice.
What we do daily:
- Morning Sadhana: We start before the world wakes, focusing on breathwork (Pranayama) and meditation. This is where we set the tone for the day.
- Alignment Workshops: Midday is reserved for technique. Whether we are refining Vrikshasan or working on inversions like Sirsasana, we break these down slowly. Correct posture is the foundation of your Abhyas.
- Cultural Immersion: In the evenings, we join the Ganga Aarti. It is a powerful way to connect with the local energy. We also take curated nature walks to Vashishta Guha and other sacred sites.
Accommodation & Community
We stay in carefully selected 3-star boutique hotels or modern ashrams that respect the sanctity of the place. Meals are strictly vegetarian and local, designed to keep you light and energized.
This retreat is for anyone who feels the pull to deepen their practice, regardless of your experience level. We practice together in small groups, which allows me to offer personal corrections and guidance. You arrive as a student, but you will leave feeling like part of a larger community.
