About Spiritual Retreats & Riverside Yoga
Practicing here means the sound of the river is your background music and the early morning mist is your only distraction. I personally guide you through adjustments while we face the Ganges, ensuring your asanas are as steady and comfortable as the surroundings require. This is where we leave the city rush behind and reconnect with our own stillness, using the river's flow to find our own balance.
Yoga is not just about the poses. It is about 'samata'—finding balance inside and out. My retreats in Haridwar are designed to take you away from the noise of the city and place you in an environment where spiritual growth is natural.
Why Practice by the Ganges?
Nature acts as a teacher. When we practice on the steps of the ghats, the atmosphere does half the work. We begin early, as the sun rises over the water, which helps set a rhythm for the entire day.
What to Expect
- Hatha Yoga Principles: We focus on 'Sthirasukham asanam', ensuring every posture is steady and comfortable.
- Breathing & Meditation: The fresh air by the river makes Pranayama and Kapalbhati significantly more effective.
- Hands-on Adjustments: I am present to guide your alignment, ensuring you get the most out of every stretch, whether you are a beginner or have been practicing for years.
These sessions are not about performance. They are about 'prayas'—the effort you put into your own growth. Whether you are looking to deepen your inversion practice with poses like Sarvangasana or simply want a quiet space for meditation, these retreats provide the environment to find that stillness. If you have been feeling disconnected or stressed by your daily schedule, this is a chance to return to your roots.
