Yoga is more than just poses. On these retreats, we travel to sacred sites and ancient landscapes to reconnect with ourselves, blending daily practice with the energy of places like Rishikesh and the mountains of Himachal.

Glimpses from my magical Mahakumbh experience. From taking a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam to receiving blessings from a Naga Sadhu, this journey was a profound spiritual immersion that I feel truly blessed to have experienced.

One has to live this to feel it. More moments from the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, a gathering of saints, hermits, and seekers. The energy of this spiritual festival is something beyond words.

The powerful Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh. If you haven't experienced the energy of the chants, the fire, and the collective devotion on the banks of the Ganga, you are missing something truly special.

A moment of awareness and a deep backbend in front of an old temple in Coorg. My retreats often include visits to such sacred places, where the history and energy inspire a deeper practice.

Filling our souls with gratitude and peace in the rain at a beautiful old temple. Sharing a 'Namaste' with a friend in such a serene setting is a reminder of the connections we build on these journeys.

A montage from Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world. From the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti to a kirtan with Krishna Das, the spiritual vibrations of this city are deeply healing and transformative.

The whole world is an illusion, or 'Maya'. This teaching from the Gita reminds us that the things we chase are temporary. Taking time to be still and observe this truth is a practice in itself.

About this collection

My retreats are rarely just about the yoga room. Whether we are participating in the Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh or visiting ancient temples in Coorg, we spend time integrating the local culture and spiritual energy into our daily practice. You aren't just a tourist; we build a small, supportive community where everyone finds their own pace, regardless of whether you are a beginner or a regular practitioner.

Finding Stillness in Movement

Many of us live in a constant state of 'doing.' These retreats are a deliberate pause. We follow the principle of Santosh Param Sukham—finding deep contentment in the present moment. We don't just practice Hatha or Vinyasa on a mat; we practice stillness in the presence of nature.

Where We Go

My immersions take us to places where the environment does half the work.

  • The Himalayas: From Rishikesh to the pine forests of Himachal, we practice among the Panchabhuta (five elements). You might find yourself doing Pranayama with the mountain breeze or meditating by a river.
  • Sacred Spaces: We prioritize visits to sites of deep spiritual resonance, like the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj or water temples in Bali. This is about seeing how spiritual practice looks in the real world.
  • Cultural Connection: You’ll experience local rituals, traditional food, and quiet reflection. We keep groups small to ensure that you actually connect with the people you are traveling with—sab apne types ke log milte hain (you will find your kind of people).

Practical Details

These trips are designed for everyone, not just experienced yogis. If you are tired, curious, or looking for a change in perspective, you are welcome. We provide:

  • Guided Practice: Daily morning energy flows and evening restorative sessions.
  • Balanced Days: Enough activity to feel refreshed, but enough downtime to actually rest.
  • Support: I am there to guide the practice and help you navigate the journey, from your first arrival to the final closing circle.
