Community Yoga Events & Outdoor Sessions
Yoga is deeply personal, but practicing with a community in the open air brings a unique energy. These sessions are where we step out of the studio to connect with nature and fellow practitioners.
A glimpse of a beautiful outdoor yoga session I conducted. Practicing in nature, surrounded by greenery, adds a special layer of peace and tranquility to our abhyas (practice).
Smiles, stretches, and mindfulness. These are the moments we create together during our community yoga events. It's a joy to see everyone connect with their practice and each other.
An announcement for a virtual International Yoga Day session. I am always excited to share the gift of yoga with new communities, helping people relax, focus, and breathe, wherever they are.
The horse pose, or Vatayanasana, is a dynamic and powerful asana. Practicing outdoors next to this magnificent sculpture reminds me of the strength and grace we cultivate through yoga.
About Community Events & Outdoor Sessions
When we move our mats from the studio to an open space, the practice shifts. There is a quiet freedom in practicing under the open sky that helps you let go of the daily routine, and I design these outdoor sessions to help you ground yourself while feeling the energy of the group.
Practicing yoga outdoors or in large community groups allows us to step outside the familiar walls of the shala. These sessions, whether held on International Yoga Day or during special weekend workshops, offer a chance to breathe and move with the rhythm of nature.
Why Practice in a Community?
Group practice creates a shared frequency. When we move together, like during the 108 Surya Namaskar events, the collective discipline helps sustain your stamina and focus. It is easier to challenge your boundaries when you have the support of others around you.
What to Expect
These workshops focus on connection and mindfulness. We integrate Pranayama and moments of silence to ensure that the event is not just a workout, but a full reset for the mind. My focus during these gatherings remains on alignment and safety—even in large, open-air setups, I ensure that everyone gets the guidance they need to practice correctly.
Joining In
I host these sessions in various open spaces and parks across Bangalore, particularly in and around Sahakarnagar. They are open to everyone, whether you are a regular student of mine or someone who has never touched a yoga mat. We keep the atmosphere welcoming and unpretentious. If you are looking to deepen your practice or simply want to experience yoga in a fresh environment, come join us on the mat.

I'm Bindu. I believe yoga is a journey we share, and whether we are in my Sahakarnagar shala or out in a park, my focus remains the same: helping you find alignment in your body and peace in your mind.
