Yoga Beyond the Mat
Yoga is a way of life that extends beyond the physical pose. These moments reflect my journey with spirituality, the discipline of daily practice, and the joy of finding stillness in a busy life.
I invite you to start your journey to wellness with me. Learning one asana a day can transform your life, bringing health, peace, and mindfulness into your daily routine.
A happy moment with my wonderful and dedicated students after a two-day workshop. It is a privilege to guide them and watch them explore their potential with such eagerness.

For me, spirituality is about treating every living being with the same care and love. It is a journey of the soul. I invite you to practice with me and explore your own journey.
By working on ourselves, we can transform darkness into light, both within and around us. I offer regular online and studio classes on weekdays to help you on your path.
Yoga is the addition of the individual self with the universal self. It is a practice of unity. This jumping Garudasana (Eagle Pose) is an expression of that joyful, boundless energy.
I am happy to share my class schedule, which includes morning and evening batches to suit your routine. You can join me at my studio in Sahakarnagar or practice online from your own space.
This is the Shiva Mudra, which helps to integrate the masculine and feminine energies within us. Mudras are a subtle but powerful part of our yoga practice.
Make consistency your priority. Regular practice is the key to progress in yoga and in life. Here I am in Lolasana, a challenging arm balance that builds strength and focus over time.
Yoga Abhyasa, or dedicated practice, will help you build discipline and find inner peace. I invite you to book a slot and see how a regular practice can benefit you.
About Yoga Beyond the Mat
Consistency is truly the fruit of a successful practice. My sessions, whether at my Sahakar Nagar studio or held online, focus on holding postures with a steady breath rather than rushing through the movements. When you join, we work on hands-on alignment adjustments so you can practice safely, ensuring you feel confident in every pose even if you are just beginning.
Building Your Practice
Yoga is about 'Abhyas,' or dedicated practice. It is not just about the intensity of the workout or how many poses you can perform. When you practice at Sri Subhadra Yoga Shala, we prioritize a balanced blend of Hatha and Vinyasa flow.
Why Alignment Matters
You will notice in our sessions that we take the time to set up your posture correctly before moving into the flow. This is crucial for two reasons: it prevents injury and helps you understand how your body reacts to different asanas. Whether we are practicing Surya Namaskar or focusing on core strength, the goal is always mindful movement.
Join from Anywhere
For those unable to visit the studio in Bangalore, my online sessions on MS Teams provide the same level of interaction. I monitor your practice through the camera to offer verbal alignment cues in real-time.
What to Expect
- Small Groups: Whether online or in-studio, I keep sessions intimate to ensure everyone gets attention.
- Adaptability: I offer variations for every body type and age, so you never feel forced to do a pose that doesn't serve you.
- Holistic Approach: We incorporate breathing exercises (Pranayama) and meditation to ensure you leave feeling balanced, not just physically tired.
