About this collection
In our Mind & Soul sessions, we often incorporate blindfolded practice. By removing the sense of sight, you naturally sharpen your other senses, which makes the pranayama and meditation phases that follow feel significantly more profound and grounding.
While many view yoga as a purely physical workout, my classes at the shala prioritize the connection between breath, body, and consciousness. The physical poses are only the gateway; the real work happens when we slow down to observe our internal state.
We dedicate significant time to Pranayama (breath control) and structured meditation. These aren't just add-ons at the end of class—they are the core of our practice. You will experience sessions incorporating singing bowl sound healing, which creates vibrations that help calm the nervous system and deepen your ability to relax.
Our studio in Brookefield, Varthur, and Belathur serves as a dedicated space for this. Whether you are navigating stress, seeking better sleep, or simply looking to disconnect from the chaos of the city, these sessions provide the tools you need. I keep the environment free of distractions—just clean space, quiet corners, and the support of a community that is also exploring the path inward. If you are new to meditation or struggle to sit still, don't worry. We build your focus gradually, moving from basic breathwork to deeper states of reflection. Come by for a session and feel the difference in how you carry yourself afterward.
Ashish Yoga Fitness
Namaste, I am Ashish. I started this school because I wanted everyone to feel the mental strength and peace that yoga brought into my own life. Whether we are practicing silent meditation or using singing bowls for sound healing, we do it together as a family.
