A typical class in progress. I provide hands on assistance to ensure proper alignment and help students safely deepen their practice. The session ends with gratitude and peace, integrating the benefits of the asanas.
True yoga is not about perfecting a pose, it is about the person you are becoming. This video shows the diversity of our students and practices, from dynamic standing poses to seated chair variations, all embodying the spirit of yoga.

About Our Studio & Group Classes
In this studio, you will not find the hurried atmosphere of a standard fitness center. We prioritize the Iyengar method, which means using blocks, straps, and chairs as essential tools to find correct alignment for your body’s unique needs. This approach is not about forcing yourself into a pose; it is about using these supports to safely release tension and build strength, even if you are working around chronic stiffness or past injuries.
Why We Focus on Props and Alignment
Many students come to us thinking that yoga is simply about flexibility. However, without proper form, even a simple stretch can lead to strain. At Arogyam Vardan, we teach you to use equipment like yoga chairs, wooden blocks, and belts. These tools are not shortcuts. They are stabilizers that allow you to hold postures long enough to experience the actual benefit, such as improved circulation, nervous system regulation, and structural integrity.
Our Studio Environment
Located in Sector 57, our studio provides a controlled, serene environment. We keep our group class sizes intentional and small. This ensures that when you practice, I can provide the hands-on corrections necessary to prevent injury and deepen your awareness. We view the mat as a place to study your own biomechanics, not a place to compete with the person practicing next to you.
What to Expect in Class
Every session is structured with a specific therapeutic goal. We move beyond basic 'exercise' to incorporate:
- Joint-Freeing Series: Targeted movements to improve mobility.
- Anatomical Focus: We often use models to explain how a specific pose impacts the spine or target muscle groups.
- Pranayama Integration: We dedicate time in every class to regulate the breath, which is essential for lowering cortisol levels.
Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your technique, our studio is a space for Sadhana (dedicated practice). It is for those who are ready to commit to their health and understand the root cause of their physical or mental fatigue.
