About 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC)
I see yoga as a journey inward, not about nailing the hardest pose but about finding calm in the middle of everything. This 200-hour training is for anyone ready to go deeper - whether you want to teach or just want to understand your own practice better.
Who Usually Joins
- Aspiring teachers who want a Yoga Alliance certified training
- Regular practitioners aiming to deepen their skills
- Folks looking for real personal change, not just new moves on the mat
What We Actually Do
We cover all the foundation stuff:
- Asana breakdowns, from Hatha basics to tricky backbends, with lots of props (blocks, ropes, whatever helps)
- Pranayama and kriyas to really connect breath and body
- A bit of anatomy, but not the boring textbook kind - more about what’s actually useful for safe teaching
- Yoga philosophy and meditation, so you get why we’re even doing all this
- Plenty of hands-on practice teaching others, not just watching
- Some chat about ahaara paddati (simple ways to eat and live that fit yoga)
How and Where
- In-person at our Koramangala shala, with all the gear
- Or live, interactive online sessions (just as intense, trust me)
I won’t pretend it’s easy, but if you’re ready to show up, let’s do it. Banni, kaliyona (Come, let's learn).

My Story
Namaste, we are Nirakula Yoga Shala. Our roots go deep - some of us come from dance, theatre, lots of creative stuff. You’ll see that spark in how we teach, mixing movement and emotion. Our mornings start with laughter, puzzles, and yes, yoga with our little ones. Nature is our recharge button, whether it’s pranayama under a tree or asanas on a Kerala boat. For us, yoga is life – in small joys, in every breath.
My Work
Yoga Classes & Workshops - We offer Hatha, Ashtanga, advanced asana workshops, pre and postnatal yoga, sound meditation, and 200-hour teacher training.
Hands-on, Creative Teaching - We use props and practical adjustments so you learn alignment and go deeper, safe for any level.
For All Levels - Beginner or advanced, there’s space for your journey. Progress matters more than perfection.
Holistic Yoga Benefits - Our classes help reduce stress, boost mindfulness, and bring inner calm. Yoga is more than just asanas.
