About Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga
Entering Motherhood, One Breath at a Time
I see pregnancy and new motherhood as full of beautiful chaos - and yoga helps me find some order in it. My aim isn’t to push for perfect poses, but to create a space where you and your baby can feel safe, calm, and connected, no matter what stage you’re at.
What My Sessions Feel Like
- Each class starts slow, with gentle warm-ups. No rush, just giving your body a chance to ease in.
- We move through modified yoga poses, using props like chairs, so you always feel steady and supported. The focus is on yoga for expecting mothers and gentle postpartum recovery, not pushing limits.
- Breathing is a big part - pranayama and aakara chanting help you lower stress and connect with your little one.
- Sessions always end with guided relaxation, so you leave feeling lighter and more centered.
What Changes for You
- During pregnancy, yoga helps with back pain, fatigue, and makes you feel more ready for labor.
- After birth, it supports safe recovery and helps you regain strength at your own pace.
- I’ve seen how these sessions become a little community, a spot to connect with others going through the same ups and downs.
- You get small moments of mother-baby bonding yoga, which feels rewarding in ways words can’t really explain.
You just need to show up. There’s no judgment, only support. One breath at a time, we move through this together.

My Story
Namaste, we are Nirakula Yoga Shala. Our roots go deep - some of us come from dance, theatre, lots of creative stuff. You’ll see that spark in how we teach, mixing movement and emotion. Our mornings start with laughter, puzzles, and yes, yoga with our little ones. Nature is our recharge button, whether it’s pranayama under a tree or asanas on a Kerala boat. For us, yoga is life – in small joys, in every breath.
My Work
Yoga Classes & Workshops - We offer Hatha, Ashtanga, advanced asana workshops, pre and postnatal yoga, sound meditation, and 200-hour teacher training.
Hands-on, Creative Teaching - We use props and practical adjustments so you learn alignment and go deeper, safe for any level.
For All Levels - Beginner or advanced, there’s space for your journey. Progress matters more than perfection.
Holistic Yoga Benefits - Our classes help reduce stress, boost mindfulness, and bring inner calm. Yoga is more than just asanas.
