Healing Touch: Bodywork & Stretch Therapy

A gentle, Thai-inspired practice that uses assisted movement and steady pressure to help your body let go of deep-seated tension and return to its natural alignment.

Bodywork is a conversation with the body. Here, I am applying gentle pressure to the temples to release tension in the head and face, a common area where we hold stress.

A deep, assisted leg stretch. This helps to open up the hips and hamstrings more effectively than one could on their own, while I ensure the body remains supported and safe.

Stretch therapy is a key offering at my retreats. This video explains some of the benefits, such as increased flexibility, improved circulation, pain relief, and stress reduction.

A glimpse into a bodywork training session. We learn to use our entire bodies as tools for healing, applying pressure and leverage to create space and release in our partners' bodies.

I recently completed an advanced bodywork and Thai massage course to deepen my skills. This is a practice of giving and receiving, and I am honored to share this healing art with my clients.

A full-body view of an assisted stretch. This dynamic movement helps to mobilize the spine and open the entire front side of the body.

Using my foot to apply steady, grounding pressure to the upper leg. This technique allows for a deep release in the large muscles of the thigh and hip.

About this collection

I use Thai-inspired techniques—my hands, feet, and body weight—to move you into postures you could not reach alone. This is not a passive massage, but active recovery. We work together to breathe into the tightness in your hips, lower back, and shoulders, helping your nervous system finally let go of the physical holding patterns you carry every day.

A Conversation With Your Body

Think of bodywork as a conversation between you, me, and your nervous system. Often, we carry stress in our muscles as unconscious tension. You might not even realize your shoulders are hunched or your hips are locked until we start moving. In these sessions, I provide the support so you can stop holding on and simply allow the body to open.

How It Works

Unlike standard oil massages, this work is done on a mat, and you remain comfortably clothed. I use a combination of gentle rocking, rhythmic pressure, and assisted stretching to increase your range of motion. We go at your pace. If you are new to this, we start slow, focusing on areas like the neck and shoulders where stress typically accumulates.

Why It Matters

  • Improved Flexibility: By assisting you through yoga-like stretches, we can safely target areas that feel restricted.
  • Nervous System Reset: The combination of rhythmic movement and focused breathwork helps shift your body from 'fight or flight' into a state of rest and repair.
  • Pain Relief: We focus on realigning the body to reduce chronic discomfort, especially lower back pain and stiffness from sitting for long hours.

My Training

I recently completed intensive training in Thai Massage and Bodywork. This practice is about giving and receiving, and I feel honored to share these techniques. Whether you are dealing with burnout, post-workout soreness, or just need to reconnect with your physical self, these sessions are designed to help you hit the reset button.
