My Personal Yoga Sadhana and Philosophy
My practice is the foundation of everything I teach, from healing therapy to advanced strength training. Explore how I maintain balance and focus, and see how you can bring that same discipline into your own life.
Building core strength and focus with an advanced arm balance in front of the Janki Setu bridge in Rishikesh. This kind of challenging asana practice helps you grow, on and off the mat.
The life of a yogi is a journey. Here I am walking by the river in Rishikesh, mat on my back, ready for practice. My retreats are an invitation for you to walk this path with me for a few days.
A few moments from my studio and practice. You can see the results of dedicated practice, from a student holding a difficult arm balance to another finding a deep stretch. This is the progress I guide my students toward.
About My Personal Practice & Philosophy
My daily practice is a mix of intense calisthenics and traditional Hatha, which is exactly why my classes are never just about stretching. You will find me combining arm balances with breathwork because I believe strength must be balanced with calm, and that is the logic I apply to every therapy plan I create for my students in Rajouri Garden.
Sadhana is not a hobby, it is the bedrock of everything I do. When I head to the banks of the Ganga in Rishikesh for sunrise practice, it is not just for the view. It is about silencing the city noise and returning to the breath. This discipline is the same energy I bring to my studio sessions in Rajouri Garden.
Whether I am working on an advanced arm balance or guiding a student through restorative therapy, the philosophy remains the same: strength without flexibility is brittle, and flexibility without strength is useless. I do not believe in fad workouts or short-term fixes. My approach blends traditional Hatha yoga with modern calisthenics to build functional strength that lasts.
If you have seen the photos from my retreats or my daily studio training, you know I do not just teach movements. I teach a way of living. I have helped students manage chronic back pain, PCOS, and stress by looking at their physical and mental habits together. If you are ready to stop looking for shortcuts and start building a real, sustainable relationship with your body, let us talk.
