My Approach to Traditional Yoga and Strength
I do not believe in just stretching. My practice combines ancient yogic traditions, intense cleansing techniques, and physical strength training to build a body that is as disciplined as the mind.

Why is strength training important for yogis? Here, I discuss the balance between strength and flexibility and demonstrate exercises using yoga blocks.
Should yogis use ancient Indian tools to strengthen their body? Absolutely. Here I am using a Mudgal to strengthen my arm and shoulder muscles.
Should yoga teachers do strength training? Yes. Sant Ramdas established gymnasiums for a reason. A strong body supports a strong mind. Here I am training with a Mudgal.
About Founder's Practice & Philosophy
Most people view yoga only as a mat practice, but I use traditional tools like the Mudgal to build the arm and shoulder strength required for advanced asanas. Strength is not separate from yoga, it is the foundation that keeps your practice safe, stable, and sustainable as you age.
My philosophy is rooted in the idea that the body is a temple requiring both maintenance and consistent challenge. When you watch my practice, you see that I do not shy away from tools or techniques that modern yoga classes often skip.
Why Traditional Tools Matter
Many practitioners ignore physical power, but I follow the path established by figures like Sant Ramdas, who emphasized vyayam shalas (gymnasiums) to build a strong vessel for Bhakti yoga. Incorporating the Mudgal into my daily regimen is not for aesthetics. It improves grip strength, shoulder stability, and overall power. This training directly translates to holding challenging poses with greater ease and stability during my sessions in Airoli.
The Role of Shuddhi Kriya
True yoga begins with internal purity, or antaric shuddhi. In this cluster, you see my practice of Sutra Neti. This nasal cleansing technique is vital for removing pollutants and stimulating the mucus glands. It is not just a ritual, but a practical way to clear the sinuses, which significantly improves breathing quality for pranayama and meditation. You cannot reach higher states of awareness if your primary channel for oxygen is obstructed.
A Scientific Dialogue
I treat my practice as a dialogue between the physical and the spiritual. Whether we are discussing the anatomy of the vertebrae or the flow of energy, every movement I teach is backed by an understanding of how the body functions. I want you to learn that yoga is a lifelong pursuit rather than a short-lived hobby. My goal is to guide you toward a level of discipline where your physical strength supports your mental peace.
