I do not believe in just stretching. My practice combines ancient yogic traditions, intense cleansing techniques, and physical strength training to build a body that is as disciplined as the mind.

Why is strength training important for yogis? Here, I discuss the balance between strength and flexibility and demonstrate exercises using yoga blocks.

Should yogis use ancient Indian tools to strengthen their body? Absolutely. Here I am using a Mudgal to strengthen my arm and shoulder muscles.

Should yoga teachers do strength training? Yes. Sant Ramdas established gymnasiums for a reason. A strong body supports a strong mind. Here I am training with a Mudgal.
