My Personal Yoga Practice and Discipline
These images are my daily discipline in action. Whether it’s finding balance in Rishikesh or building core strength on the mat, this is how I stay sharp for my students.
Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create. Here I am, finding my balance and peace in the serene environment of Rishikesh.
This is the Lotus Mountain pose. I believe the 114 chakras and 84 classic yoga poses work together to bring melody and balance into our lives.
If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you. Pushing my limits with a handstand on the beach, combining strength, balance, and the beauty of nature.
Make an attitude to be in gratitude. A dynamic calisthenics-inspired flow in front of the sacred Om symbol in Rishikesh, blending physical power with spiritual energy.
We are not going to change the whole world, but we can change ourselves. Practicing a standing balancing pose by the holy Ganga, connecting with nature and my inner self.
Be the reason someone smiles. A moment from my personal calisthenics practice, working on an L-sit to build the core strength that is fundamental to all my movements.
Life is a dream. We wake up when we die. A fluid transition through the Flying Lizard pose flow, a sequence that challenges both strength and flexibility.
Stay real, work hard, and be a man. A powerful flow from handstand to headstand, demonstrating the energy and persistence that I bring to my own practice every day.
This is Kukkutasana, or Rooster Pose, an advanced arm balance from the Padmasana group that builds exceptional arm and shoulder strength.
Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor. A simple forward fold becomes a meditative practice, grounding me in the present moment.
About My Personal Practice
You might notice these aren't just gentle stretches. My personal practice mixes Vinyasa, calisthenics, and deep mobility work because I believe a teacher must stay in the trenches. If you are looking for someone who actually does the work they preach, this is the foundation of my teaching style. It is not about perfect aesthetics, it is about building functional strength that lasts.
Leading by Example
I believe the greatest wealth is health, and I don't ask my students to do anything I haven't done myself. You will see me practicing handstands, calisthenics flows, and complex arm balances because this is how I keep my own body and mind in check.
Why I Mix Disciplines
My practice isn't restricted to one style. I blend Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and calisthenics to ensure I’m building not just flexibility, but real-world strength. When I teach in Rajouri Garden, I bring this exact same intensity to the studio floor. Whether we are doing compression drills for core strength or using wall ropes to fix your posture, the goal is always the same: to challenge you so that you change.
My Approach to Consistency
Yoga isn't just a workout; it's a lifestyle. When you see me practicing by the Ganga or on my studio roof, it's a reminder that your mat is your sanctuary. If you are struggling with stubborn fat, back pain, or just a lack of energy, I am here to provide the structure you need. No excuses, no shortcuts, just consistent effort.
