Kids Yoga & Gymnastics Classes
Kids need to move, not sit in front of screens. My classes in Rajouri Garden mix yoga and gymnastics to help them build strength, focus, and confidence—without the boring drills.
I believe in teaching with care and proper support. Here, I am guiding a young student through a supported backbend roll using a gymnastics barrel, which helps build their confidence and ensures they learn the movement safely. This is how we make advanced moves feel achievable.
With the right guidance, children can achieve incredible focus and flexibility. I'm providing hands-on assistance to a student as she perfects her Dancer Pose (Natarajasana), helping her with alignment and balance to deepen the stretch safely.
My gymnastics classes are full of dynamic and fun activities. This video shows a typical session where kids practice everything from animal walks and forward rolls to strength building on the wall bars, all in a structured and encouraging group setting.
Fitness should be filled with laughter. In my "Yoga with Fun" sessions, we mix traditional poses like Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) with playful exercises like wall-supported leg lifts, ensuring the kids stay engaged and happy while they learn.
You can join my yoga family from anywhere in the world. This is a snapshot from one of my online kids yoga classes, where a mother and daughter are practicing together, showing that you can build a healthy routine right from the comfort of your home.
Yoga is about community and celebration. This was from our International Yoga Day event in a park, where students of all ages came together. The best moment was this playful push-up, showing that fitness can bring joy to everyone, young and old.
To be a good teacher, you must also be a dedicated student of your own practice. This is a clip of my own calisthenics training, performing a wall climb to build upper body and core strength. This discipline is what I bring to my teaching.
About Featured
Forcing kids into exercise never works, so I don't use boring drills. Instead, I turn every session into a game, whether it's balancing bottles on heads or navigating obstacle courses. We use professional-grade crash mats and Swedish ladders in my Rajouri Garden studio to keep them safe while they learn everything from basic rolls to advanced backflips.
Building Healthy Habits, One Game at a Time
I’ve seen too many kids stuck behind screens, losing touch with their own energy. My goal in these classes is simple: make fitness feel less like work and more like play. Whether your child is a complete beginner or looking to master a backflip, I adapt the pace so they stay challenged but never overwhelmed.
Why Mix Yoga and Gymnastics?
It’s not just about doing splits or poses.
- Yoga helps with their focus, breath control, and posture, which is crucial in these times of heavy school bags and desk work.
- Gymnastics builds real agility, core strength, and the spatial awareness they need to stay safe in their daily lives.
My Approach in Rajouri Garden
My studio is designed for kids, not just adults. We have wall-mounted Swedish ladders, climbing ropes, and yoga wheels, plus professional-grade 'Rotect' crash mats. This setup allows me to teach advanced moves like inversions and flips with 100% safety.
I offer a structured 3-day weekly schedule, but the real magic is in the 'fun' factor. We do storytelling, animal walks, and balance drills that keep them smiling while they sweat. If you are in Block F or Block V in Rajouri Garden, come by for a trial. We aren't just a studio; we’re a community where your kid gets personal attention and real mentorship.
