Advanced Yoga and Gymnastics Competition Training
Ready to push your limits? From national-level prep to mastering complex inversions, I provide the focused, hands-on guidance you need to unlock your full potential.
Preparing for a national level competition requires intense focus and expert guidance. Here, I am providing hands-on adjustment to help a student achieve a deep backbend split, carefully pushing her limits while ensuring perfect form and safety.
Learning a backflip is a process that starts with building foundational strength and flexibility. In this video, I am guiding a student through a wall-assisted sequence, moving from a handstand to a backbend, which is a key drill for mastering flips.
This is a young student from my online class mastering Tolasana, or the Scale Pose. It's an advanced arm-balancing posture that requires significant core strength and focus, and he is demonstrating it beautifully.
To be a good teacher, you must also be a dedicated student of your own practice. This is a clip of my own calisthenics training, performing a wall climb to build upper body and core strength. This discipline is what I bring to my teaching.
About Advanced Skills & Competition Training
Whether you are prepping for a national-level competition or finally trying to nail a backflip, technique is non-negotiable. I do not just tell you what to do, I provide physical, hands-on spotting for high-risk moves like handstands and splits to ensure your body learns the correct engagement patterns before we increase the intensity.
My Approach to Advanced Training
If it does not challenge you, it does not change you. That is the philosophy I bring to every advanced session. We move beyond basic asanas to explore calisthenics, backbending, and arm balancing that require serious core strength and mental focus.
Why train with me?
- Safety First: Advanced moves involve risk. In my studio, we use professional crash mats and wall bars to practice inversions and flips safely.
- Hands-on Spotting: You will get tactile adjustments. Whether it is a deep split or a backbend, I am right there to guide your limbs, helping you find alignment without injury.
- Progression-Based: We do not jump into backflips on day one. We build the foundational strength—bear crawls, crab walks, and core conditioning—that makes the advanced pose possible.
Who is this for?
This training is for dedicated students, athletes, and practitioners who have hit a plateau. Whether you are an adult looking to regain childhood agility or a student preparing for competition, we will work on the specific strength gaps holding you back. My sessions combine traditional yoga discipline with modern gymnastic drills to give you a complete, powerful practice.
