Building Strength & Flexibility

Forget magic shortcuts. Here, we use props, steady flow, and consistency to build real strength and flexibility that actually lasts.

In our regular classes, we explore dynamic movements like Chakrasana Walking. It's a playful yet powerful way to build back flexibility, arm strength, and confidence. We make sure our practice is always evolving.

The Chakrasana Challenge. From lifting one leg to balancing on one hand, this pose is all about strength, focus, and grace. We are always ready to bend, balance, and break our limits in a supportive environment.

Heart open, fears gone. Backbends are not just physical postures; they are emotions unlocked. We work on opening the heart and releasing fear, allowing the spine to dance and the soul to shine.

Opening up your back activates all seven chakras and makes you feel fearless. We guide you through safe and effective back-bending sequences to help you unlock your spine and fight back your fears.

A glimpse of a backbend flow in our super energetic class. We focus on dynamic movements that build both strength and flexibility, helping you move with more freedom and grace.

An upper back opening sequence in our Paschim Vihar class. We focus on releasing tension from the thoracic spine, which is crucial for good posture and deeper backbends.

Life is a journey, not a destination. Here, I am assisting a student in Ustrasana (Camel Pose) with a belt, while another uses a wheel for a deep backbend. We provide the tools and motivation for you to progress on your path.

About this collection

You will notice props like wheels, ropes, and blocks in these photos. They are not just for show; they are part of our system to safely challenge your spine and shoulder mobility. Whether it is a deep backbend or an inversion, these tools help you reach a pose without forcing it, which is the only way to build strength that does not leave you injured.

Building strength and flexibility isn't about rushing into advanced poses on day one. I see many students in Paschim Vihar who have tried 'Insta-yoga' hacks, only to end up with wrist pain or a sore back. Real progress in yoga takes time, patience, and the right approach.

Why Props Matter

If you see me using Iyengar wall ropes or wheels in our sessions, it is for a reason. These aren't shortcuts—they are precision tools. Props allow you to hold postures longer and with better alignment. For example, if you are working on a backbend, a yoga wheel provides the support your spine needs to open up safely, rather than straining your lower back. This helps you build deep muscular strength instead of just relying on flexibility.

Moving Beyond the Mat

My classes mix Hatha, Vinyasa, and functional movement. We aren't just holding poses; we are moving through sequences designed to build power and stamina. Whether you are 18 or 70, the goal is the same: to move with ease. We focus on:

  • Shoulder & Spine Health: Targeted drills for posture correction.
  • Core Stability: Essential for balance and inversions like Sirsasana.
  • Safe Progressions: We teach you how to fall, how to support, and how to advance.

No Perfection, Just Consistency

Yoga isn't a performance. It is a daily habit. We don't have 'star' students because everyone is on their own journey. When you join our group sessions, you get personal attention and manual adjustments, ensuring you are not just mimicking a shape but actually working the right muscles. If you are ready for a real change, stop looking for quick fixes. Come join us on the mat, and let’s put in the work.

Namaste, I’m Madhulika. I left the CA world to find real 'sukun' on the mat, and now I’m here to help you find yours. My studio in Paschim Vihar is more like a family—we push limits, but we laugh and support each other every step of the way.
