Yoga Classes for Groups and Kids in Rohini
Yoga is a journey best shared. Whether you want a supportive group to practice with or a fun, active environment for your child to build confidence, my studio sessions are built to help you grow.
I provide hands-on assistance to help my youngest students safely explore advanced poses. Here, I am guiding a child into a forearm stand backbend, helping her build strength and trust in her abilities.
About Group & Kids Classes
In my group classes, I strictly limit batches to 8 to 12 students. This isn't just about space, but about my ability to provide hands-on anatomical correction. Whether you are holding a pose or your child is learning a new stretch, I move between mats to ensure your alignment is safe and effective. You get the energy of a group, but the attention of a personal session.
Group Dynamics and Flow
My group classes blend Power Yoga for cardio, Hatha for stability, and Iyengar-inspired alignment drills. Working alongside others creates a rhythm that keeps you consistent. My studio at Amba Tower is fully equipped with rope walls (Yoga Kurunta) and props like wheels, bolsters, and belts. We use these tools as a group to help you nail advanced poses or simply find deeper relief in your backbends. It is about working smarter, not just harder.
Yoga for Kids
For kids, yoga is not about rigid perfection; it is about play. I teach them how to move, stretch, and breathe to build body awareness early on. We focus on balancing, flexibility, and building trust in their own abilities. Seeing a child go from struggling with a basic balance to nailing a forearm stand is the best part of my day. It builds confidence that they carry off the mat.
Why Small Batches Matter
Yoga is more than just following the person in the front. It is about understanding what your body needs. In a large class, you might get lost. In my small batches, I monitor how you move. If you have specific needs—like knee pain or a stiff back—I will suggest modifications that keep you safe while the rest of the group flows. We keep the atmosphere focused, disciplined, and full of urja (energy).
