Fun Group Yoga Classes for Kids
I create a space where your little ones can play, move, and build confidence through storytelling-based yoga, right here in South Delhi.
I guide my little yogis through Bhujangasana, or the Cobra Pose. This pose is wonderful for strengthening the back and opening the heart. I love seeing their focus and how they try to stretch a little higher each time.
A moment of calm. I guide the children in simple meditation and breathing exercises to help them find their center. Learning to sit in stillness is a powerful tool for emotional regulation, even for the youngest minds.
Here we are practicing our Marjaryasana-Bitilasana, or Cat-Cow poses. This gentle flow is great for spinal flexibility. We often pretend we are different animals, which brings so much laughter to our kids yoga class.
Resting in Balasana, the Child's Pose. This is a safe and comforting pose that I teach the kids to use whenever they need a moment to themselves. It’s a beautiful way to learn about listening to your body.
About Fun Group Classes for Kids
In my sessions, I swap standard drills for storytelling adventures where we act out animal movements and hero tales. This playful approach helps children pick up mindfulness and focus without feeling like they are in a strict class, all within a small, supportive group at my Panchsheel Park studio.
How we practice at Yoga Connect:
My classes are designed to be a safe space for emotional regulation for children. Instead of forcing kids into rigid poses, I use storytelling yoga for kids to help them build motor skills and confidence. We weave in fun narratives, like becoming a jungle animal or a storybook hero, to keep them engaged, theek hai?
Why small groups (5-8 kids) work:
I keep batches small on purpose. This allows me to give every child attention and keep the energy grounded. We focus on mindful movement for kids, teaching them to listen to their bodies and breathe properly. Even the youngest ones learn simple kids pranayama techniques that help them calm down and find focus after a busy school day.
More than just poses:
Beyond the physical movement, these sessions help kids manage big feelings. It is not just about flexibility; it is about building a foundation for mental well-being that they carry outside the studio.
Parent-child sessions:
If you want to join the fun, I also host parent-child workshops. These are great for building trust through partner poses and shared relaxation. It is a chance for you to slow down together and create real, lasting memories away from screens.
