Yoga for Holistic Healing and Strength
I am Kavita, and my practice is about building real strength, not just flexibility. Whether you are managing hormonal health, navigating pregnancy, or simply seeking peace, we use traditional techniques and props to help your body heal.
My prenatal yoga sessions are built on over 15 years of experience, guiding expecting mothers toward a strong, prepared body for labor. Here, I am assisting a student with a supported pose on a beautiful terrace, focusing on creating space and comfort. This practice is not just about physical preparation; it's about deepening the bond with your baby.
This video showcases eight essential yoga poses every woman should practice. I guide a student through a sequence designed to address common issues like PCOS, infertility, menopause symptoms, and menstrual cramps, demonstrating how targeted yoga can bring balance to your body.
After you overcome tough times, you realize your own strength. This is my self practice, a moment that reminds me that I am made of steel and iron. I bring this philosophy of resilience into my teaching, helping you build not just physical strength in poses like this handstand, but mental and spiritual fortitude as well.
In my classes, we use props like blocks and ropes to make yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of flexibility or experience. This approach ensures you can achieve the correct alignment safely, getting the full benefit of each asana without straining your body. True yoga is about shaping your life, not just your body.
There comes a time in life when you seek nothing but peace. Here, I am practicing Nadi Shodhana pranayama, a breathing technique that calms the mind and reduces negative thoughts. This is the essence of my Yogasadhana, finding stillness and a positive outlook.
I believe our emotions are stored in our lower body. In this tutorial, I explain how to practice Utthan Pristhasana, or Lizard Lunge, a powerful hip-opening asana. I guide you on how to modify the pose to release long-held emotional tension and find relief.
The results speak for themselves. This is a real testimonial from one of my yogis after a facial yoga session, sharing her experience of reduced eye pain, better circulation, and sound sleep. Her glowing, filter-free photo shows the powerful, natural effects of the practice.
In this video, I share some basic guidelines for new students. Results in yoga take consistency and trust. It takes about a month to learn the techniques, and by the third month of consistent practice, you will start seeing real changes in your body and health reports.
About Featured
Getting results in yoga isn't about rushing into advanced poses. My approach centers on a specific three-month cycle: the first month is dedicated to learning techniques with props like wall ropes and blocks, and by the third month, you will see tangible shifts in your energy levels and medical health reports.
My Methodology
I believe in practical, results-oriented yoga. I am not a fancy yogi. My sessions at our Andheri West studio are built on the Iyengar methodology, using wall ropes, wooden blocks, and wheels. These props aren't just accessories; they are essential tools to support your body, ensure correct alignment, and allow you to hold therapeutic poses longer without straining.
Clinical Focus and Results
Yoga is for every phase of life. Whether you are struggling with PCOS, thyroid issues, diabetes, or the challenges of menopause, we track your progress systematically. We analyze your medical blood reports at the start and compare them every three to six months to ensure we are moving in the right direction. This is what I mean when I say the results are on paper. My prenatal sessions also focus on trimester-specific protocols to help you build a strong, elastic body for natural labor, always prioritizing your safety and comfort.
Why Consistency Matters
I often tell my students: consistency is everything. Whether you join for a group class or a private home session, my goal is to guide you through the initial confusion of starting a new practice. From the third month onwards, you can expect to feel improvements in flexibility, core strength, and mental focus. If you are looking to manage stress, reduce chronic pain, or just feel stronger in your daily life, join us. Let's work on getting your body and mind back in balance.
