About Fun, Connection, and Flight
People often think aerial yoga is only for the young or the hyper-flexible, but the hammock is actually a fantastic support tool for everyone. Even if you have not touched your toes in years, my workshops are designed to help you find your balance, relieve spinal pressure, and stretch deeper with absolute safety in my Andheri studio.
Aerial and partner yoga are not just about doing cool poses. They are about breaking your own limits. When you step into my studio for a workshop, you are not just getting a workout; you are learning to trust your body and the person next to you.
Why Aerial Yoga Works
It looks like play, but it is serious practice. Using the hammock, we create spinal traction that you just cannot replicate on a mat. It helps you open up tight shoulders, lengthen your spine, and invert without the fear of falling. I guide every student step by step, ensuring you know how to grip the fabric and engage your core, so you feel weightless instead of scared.
The Power of Partner Yoga
Communication is the core of partner yoga. You might be supporting a friend in a double boat pose or balancing back-to-back. It forces you to get out of your own head and sync your breath with someone else. This builds a unique kind of focus and community that I have seen transform the energy of my batches at Yogasadhana.
My Approach to Safety
I do not believe in rushing into advanced flows. We use props like blocks and ropes inspired by the Iyengar tradition to prepare your muscles. My workshops are small and supervised, meaning you get personal attention to ensure your alignment is safe. Whether you are a total beginner or a regular practitioner, you will walk out feeling stronger, lighter, and a little more fearless than when you walked in. Yog se hi sab kuch theek hoga.
