A fun, multi person acro yoga pose that creates a human table. This kind of partner yoga is a fantastic way to build core strength and stability while having a great time with friends.
Another creative three person acro yoga pose. We love experimenting with different shapes and balances in the park. It’s a practice that combines strength, flexibility, and friendship.
Using park benches to create a unique partner pose. This combines a strong plank hold with a deep backbend in Chakrasana, showing how you can use your environment to enhance your practice.
A classic acro yoga "bird" pose. This posture is wonderful for the flyer to open their chest and for the base to build leg strength and stability. It feels like flying.
About Acro Yoga: Playful Partner Practice
Most of my acro yoga sessions happen right in the park, using benches and open spaces as our studio. It helps you get creative with your balance and core, turning a standard stretch into something genuinely engaging. I am there to spot you throughout, ensuring we focus on stability and proper form before we attempt any complex lifts.
Acro yoga is less about achieving the perfect shape and more about the communication between the base and the flyer. When I coach these sessions, my priority is establishing a solid foundation before we move into any flow. You learn to trust your partner’s strength and your own stability, which is a massive confidence booster.
We typically practice in parks around Dwarka. We use benches for supported planks and natural tree lines for stability. Beginners often start with simple bird poses to get comfortable with the sensation of being lifted. If you are worried about safety, we always start with manual spotting. I am right there to ensure every adjustment is safe and every stretch is effective. It is a mix of gymnastics, yoga, and play. Whether you bring a friend or join a group, you will find yourself laughing as much as you are working out. This is not just a workout, it is a way to build connections while you get stronger.
